Your relationship with Japan

I went to Japan only one time but liked it very much! I'm even thinking about living there although I don't really know how easy or difficult it is...

I've been to Japan once with my mother with whom is Japanese. I really would like to visit again.

lived in japan til I graduated high school. Joined the military on base there and got stationed back in my hometown. I got lucky.

I never been to japan yet, but I plan to go in less than 5 years. I am curently learning japanese on my own. Still I'm not advanced at all (I can't handle a conversation) I watch a lot of japanese shows, it help.

I've there twice, that is, Im on my second time arround.

The first time I was in the military, and as usual fell in love with a Japanese Harajuku girl . I'm out of the military now and doing free-lancing computer gaming graphics here in Okinawa . I plan to move to main land once me and my fiance are married this June! Sugoi ne?

I know enough speech Japanese to get me around Japan and what not, but I'm just starting to learn plenty of Kanji at once. It's ok so far. But I need to go at my pase.

I've never been to japan, but I really want to go there one day. I mean watching it on the travel channel has gotten me so wired up that I "really" want to go, because its so cool and there are alot of places to go to.

I have few friends whom have gone to japan before and came back to tell the story about what was it like to be in japan.

Never been there, but seems like a nice place. However, the language would really be good to learn, since it'll open up a whole new world (and mangas and animes ^^)

I stopped by Japan on my trip to the United States once, but I don't remember what happened since I was only three at the time. I plan on moving to Japan after college to live there permanently, though.

i lived in osaka for 2 years (currently in Canada). Tomorrow my japanese friends are going back T_T (They are exchange students from Shizuoka), kanashii~... But i'm going to visit them this summer ^_^

i've always wanted to go to Japan though i dont really hav any concrete reason to go there. i dont think they offer any places in the universities for foreign students who want to take pharmocolgy as their major. but i really hope that i could stand a chance to go to Japan as an exchanged student. Toudai..if only i could b there..

well I got into manga then anime and onto to J-rock (and other Japanese music) and soon I fell in love with the people the culture and just every thing about it.!!!
I am only in high school at this moment but I am hoping to get into Wyoming state (they have allot of exchange students from Japan ) to take there coarse on Japanese and photo journalism them somehow find a way to make my way to Japan and live there as a photographer (not likely but tis my dream ) well and in the mean time I will try and learn as much as I can with knowing little to no Japanese

Hello all.

I dream constantly of visiting and possibly living in Japan one day. A couple of years ago I imported a Nissan Skyline R33 GTST from Japan. I wanted very badly to go and pick it up over there myself but was not able to. I have been into the Japanese car racing scene for several years now and want to learn as much as I can about it. I am currently building the R33 Skyline and a 1986 AE86 Corolla (hachi) for drifitng.

The car team I belong to, Team Notorious, adheres strictly to the HASHIRIYA philosophy and we actively try to promote it here in Texas where we live, race, and show our cars. I want to learn as much as I can about the actual street car culture in Japan because myself and our team are very interested in creating the most accurate JDM vehicles possible here in the States.

I am glad to be a member here, I look forward to making many friends.

I'm planning to go to Japan...but I have to save first since it is pretty expensive...heard that Tokyo is the most expensive place in the whole world!

I still haven't been in japan, and I've just failed in my Nova application.
I think I won't have any chance to get to japan in the next few years; and whenever I'd do, it'd just be a short (tourist) stay.

I will be staying in japan for one year and a half. I have been here for 6 months now and I find most people that i've met kind and helpful.
