I haven't been there yet, but as soon as I speak enough Japanese, I will stay in Japan for several months (maybe in a year or 1 1/2 years? something like that). I hope to make friends in the meantime there and meet them when I stay in Japan. :)

Some day I dream of visiting japan, maybe it'll not be next year but some day i'm gonna visti japan for shure :)

I'm a young cg artist and there is a lot i have to learn before i try to seek my future in the asian cg industry. I really adore the asian vision for art and the way they create it. One day i hope i'll find a job in Japan and work hard to become one of the best 😄

Man it's sounds like a fairy-tale

cheers all 🙂

First post, whoo hoo! Girlfriend is in bed, I'm up drinking beer. Found this site randomly whilest running a search for Bob Sapp (who fought K-1 in Lost Vegas last night, and if my limited knowledge of J-TV was correct, challenged Mike Tyson, who was in attendance, to a fight afterwards). I'm lazy, and only scanned the posts above, but many seemed interested in how to get to Japan. I've been here two years doing the English teacher gig (only intended to stay for one, but you know how things go...). If you want in, and don't mind working for a corporate meatgrinder at first, try a big language teaching school, such as NOVA (whoo, no lightning strike!), for a job and a visa. You'll likely need a college degree, and mastery of a major language (i.e. English, Chinese, French, German, etc.), but it is possible if you've got that going for you. Good luck!

I've been to Japan when I was a kid. I only remember Disneyland and Tokyo. I hope I can visit again. This time, we will go to Kobe. 😄

Hi! you could volunteer at an animal shelter run by a British woman. It is hard work but you get board & keep and all the animals love having their photos taken for the newspaper and educational materials. You will have a chance to live in the countryside and learn a lot about animals. Osaka city is about one hour away. Animal Refuge Kansai (Cats; Dogs; Farm Animals; No-kill Shelter; Sanctuary) http://www.arkbark.net/newsletter/index.html or [email protected]

Once I get my teching english diploma, I'll go to Japan. I'm planning on becoming an animator but I don't think my chances are that great. Anyone know the hiring rates in japan for animation?🙂

I'm trying to go... In fact, I can, but there is a problem... I don't have any friend over there and I wouldn't know where stay... plus, Maciamo, Moyashi... don't you know any school like GEOS, Aeon or Nova but for spanish speakers???

im searching for my friend richardo edwards if anyone knows him please email me

I currently live in England *but Im originally from the Philippines and L.A.* I would love to go to Japan someday. Ive always been interested in anything Japanese, and I would love to visit my pen pal of ten years, Mizuki.

I haven't been to Japan yet but it's my dream to go there one day and perhap (if fate allows it) even go live there ^_~

I love Japan =]

I live in Singapore and have never been to Japan before... Why?? Coz I am too poor to afford a trip to Japan. 😭

The closest I come into contact with Japanese culture is thru my penpals, manga, anime and jrock... hmm, maybe also thru some Taiwanese contacts since Taiwanese are very into Japanese culture. That's a big blessing indeed coz through them. I can get all sorts of manga that I can't buy with their help.

One day, yes, one fine day. I will definitely make my way down to Japan by whatever means.. :devilish: And the first thing I will do is to make my way down to the nearest manga shop/cafe and also go to a jrock concert (esp. Dir en grey & Kagrra.. that's provided they are still in the jrock scene by the time I can afford to visit Japan.. )

oh man, would i LOVE to go to japan! i plan to teach english there, at some point, it would be a great experience.

Someday, Some Day Faraway

;) I can't wait to go. I wonder how I'll get to Japan --- I know my pretty GPA, yes, I'm pretty nerdy but I qualify for a bunch of scholarships and I hope to find one that could help get me to Japan.

😜

I was born in Japan but have not returned for a visit in over 30 years.

I'm planning a trip back to Osaka in spring of '04 when the cherry trees will be blossoming. Anyone care to join me?

I'm from Japanese decent and I also study Japanese at college, after I finish that study I want to return to Japan to live and work there.
