Why would NKorea want to attack Japan?

I wanted to post this under "US force in Japan" because that is what promted me to this question. One of the given reasons for US forces to continue to be in Japan. The other, I think, is China. But Japan has lots of trade and investments with China, so I want to deal with only NKorea here.



Why would North Korea want to attack or invade Japan?

Anti-Japanese feelings (which seems to exist in Koreans - even in South Korea) can be a reason. North Korea was annexed by Japan from 1910~1945, and life under Japanese rule was very harsh for the Koreans. So there's resentment in North Korea against the Japanese for this reason.

Also, part of this anti-Japanese sentiment in North Korea is due to propaganda by the Communist government. The state's propaganda tells the people that Japan is evil.

But I don't think North Korea would go to war with Japan, because Kim Jong-Il knows that his country would not be able to win. North Korea's GDP is so small that it can afford to build an armed force that's only a tiny fraction of Japan's Self Defence Force.

US can "protect" Japan from USA. Because of US presence in Okinawa more missiles are pointed at them. Okinawa would be safer if US left. There would be less illeterate Americans raping girls and less missiles pointed at them. Okinawa would be safer.

The reason why Asian countires dislike Japan is because of WW2 and the reason why people don´t like "Jews" is not because they are Jews but rather the Israeli treatment of Palestinian Arabs.

Why would North Korea attack Japan? It woun´t. It doesn´t even have the capacity to feed its own people. But this is something Americans like to talk about because this for them would justify their presence in Japan.

I think Japan did good back then, but what the most of the soldiers did was awefull, they raped women, killed children.
But if 朝鮮民主主義人民共和国 wants to attack then i hope 日本 will blast them untill
朝鮮民主主義人民共和国 finally stops and come to the consideration that Japan is still a mighty country if they want with/without help from US.

Nobody think that NK wants to attack Japan because they are not capable.
Probably NK needs to threaten neighbouring countries in order to obtain food aid or financial support. What they have done before is equivalent of the acts of gangster.
