Who doesn't like Hyde here?

I wonder if I could post my opinion here too... as for me, I'm not that familiar with Hyde's music. I've only seen Moonchild and listened to a few of his songs. I didn't like him, though. But I don't dislike him either. He's basicly nobody to me. But he looks nice if you ask me. Hyde is equally bad actor as Gackt i think. They both should stick with music.
Um, but Gackt's a great singer! He might be overrated just like Winter says but I think he's talented and all.
I've never thought about that Gackt has done something to his lips, though. Gee, i like his lips! And I think I would make out with him a bit if I could... 😊 Haha, if he's 30-year-old then I'm not THAT young. ;) But I'm definitely not a 'fangirl' because i don't like everything related to him.
 
:D i like gackt alot too but i can't help but laugh at the way some pple described their negative points.... like what pink_insane_tiger said abt gackt putting THAT cucumber in his pants.

come to think of it i kinda agreed with my other friends about gackt not having a d**k when they saw a pic of gackt in his usual tight leather pants.

Don't put words in my mouth. I never said I didn't like him, I meant that I thought his lack of.......self-confidence was sad.
 
urm... actually.... that ''lack'' is just a poke-fun. his singing is... urm, great but well... it's kinda groseque to think abt it....

About Hyde:
666 was made because the fans on HYDEIEST were complaining that Hyde had betrayed his rock roots and was going slow pop [ROENTGEN]. So at the beginning of 2003 Hyde was telling everyone on HYDEIEST how he was going to do rock again starting with his HELLO single. I own the 666 album and it may not be the best thing ever, but SWEET VANILLA, PRAYER, SHINING OVER YOU, and MASQUERADE are really good songs in my opinion.
I've never been a big fan of the solo thing, but now that the group is back again, I'm looking forward to hearing READY STEADY GO on MS this week.

About Gackt:
I have his Crescent album. I don't really like his music that much. Some of my favorite Crescent tracks are 君が待っているから [kimi ga matteiru kara], Lust For Blood , White Eyes, Last Song, and オレンジの太陽 [orenji no taiyou]... I think I don't liked him after I read his autobiography.
 
There is a rumor that his new album was named 666 because he is a pervert, and it sounds like sex sex sex.
 
People thought 666 meant three different things:
- The Devil
- Sex sex sex
- and just Six Six Six

Hyde himself said that 666 means just that: 666. He thought it was creative that everyone guessed it meant sex sex sex and said he didn't about the fact that it was also the sign for the devil.
The staff also surprised Hyde by labeling the album's catalog number KSCL-666

And here is some light to be shed on the meaning of 666.

It comes from the greek symbol of [xes] which translates as the mark of the beast.

The 'beast' is not, and I repeat, NOT the devil, of biblical folklore.

Considering that Satan, ruler of hell, is an angel, *and the most beautiful one, I might add* its obvious he isnt the 'beast' in reference.

Ah...I think I'll stop this lesson here.
 
Um... I thought the beast was just society once it got to a certain horrible point, or the government.. Something like that. Never really thought about it.
 
i really like Hyde's voice ;) 4 me he is great, i do like laruku, ive seen 2 concerts and he 'can' sing, but i barely like Gackt
i wouldnt make out with them, Hyde looks too much like a girl 😊 and Gackt.... no way , he really is too plastic :auch: and yeah those lips r really scary
I have to agree with that, you just cant always talk about things u like, besides that what a forum is for, to give your opinion and discuss with people 👍
 
Ah, you guys got me started on the bible...which is off topic, but I just want to say this one thing, and I'll shut it. I mean, I dont want this post removed or nothing;

The Beast is the literal minion, of the King of Darkness. Satan has been dubbed the Prince of Darkness. Ever notice why they dont call him the king? Because the king was always there, before Satan was even created.

Never heard of these stories? Oh, well if you are Christian, then thats no surprise...
 
There's no need to bring religion into this. There is nothing wrong with Christians!
Anyway, I don't like to get into arguments. I prefer to keep the peace, it's easier. so let's just leave it there. No more to be said on the subject.

😊 he look s cute in that... if only the pic was bigger. oh.... someone in this thread said something abt gackt having tooo much plastic surgery.... maybe that's why his smile is so'' fixed''.... ( those who watch moonchild would probably get it)

it's ironic, cuz gackt sang thos song " cool like plastic'' which maybe meant his face...:D :D :D oh well... it was a great song nonetheless
 
Wonderful, wonderful bashing. It'll be fun to start posting on here again. Now to answer on a few things.

The post about the International Channel PV was probably HYDE - HELLO. Compared to the other rock songs on 666, HELLO was so-so. I liked 666 quite a bit, and Gackt's Crescent. Whoever named the songs from those albums that they liked, typed out the same songs that I would have.

When you change your style, bad things are bound to happen. I continue to support them as artists regardless of the way they look or perform. I find their music to be of a high enough quality for me to purchase it.

For me, that's all there is to it.

On a sidenote, if someone has a way to send me READY STEADY GO from MS, or a way to get me the PV, i'd really appreciate it. I've been waiting for new Laruku ever since I heard about the new album.

Oh well, I'm done for now. It looks like Japan Forum will be a lot more fun then it used to.👍
 
I'm new here, and I think this post is a little old now... I mean, there are loads of other "I hate hyde and Gackt, so join along in the bandwagon" threads.

I'm generally okay with both hyde and Gackt. At first, I thought Gackt was just too pretty to be a gal, and I would mock my guy-friend who was so obsessed with him. Then I watched Moon Child (I watched it because of Wang Lee Hom, not hyde or Gackt), and the movie was okay, and I do have to agree that Gackt's smile does seem a Lil, how do you? Put it... freakish. When he smiled (the part where he finally caught the cigarette between his fingers in Moon Child), I had shivers.

I'm not sure if the whole plastic surgery thing is true, but if it is, then I understand now why Gackt is prettier than most gals. *runs away from angry fangirls* and yes, I admit, I am a bit confused as to what fangirls really mean. I know they are a group, but what does it really mean?

Hyde is okay, in my opinion. I like his song Evergreen, White Song and Shallow Sleep. I think I prefer his slow songs, and Hello sits well with me though it's not my favourite song. I have yet to purchase or download (pardon me for being so stingy coz I really can't afford to buy, and the albums are hard to find from where I am) their albums, so I can't say much about their singing.

p/s for those who think hyde is a lousy singer, try listening to White Song. You may change your mind, but then, one man's meat is another man's poison.

'nuff said!
 
Well, I think I need to express my opinion as well, because I love hyde, at least the image I have of him. I am a fan and I am a girl, but I'm obviously not what was defined here as fangirl - e.g. I don't like ROENTGEN so much, didn't buy or download it.
I like 666 very much, though I think he could do it better - he shows that he can play the guitar on roentgen and should use those skills much more in his rock music (I hope he'll stick to that, cause I'm basicly a hard rock fan). About his voice there's really nothing to complain! He has one of the best voices I've ever listened to! And that you can check out in the songs from 666 that were mentioned above. I think his voice comes out on that album better than ever before. And singing out of the line in a live concert - well I've been on many concerts of many different artists and only few of them didn't sing out of the line!

I'm amazed everytime I listen to music of hyde or laruku, that this tiny person has such a volumy and diverse voice!

Not to forget: he writes all his music and lyrics himself, which enough other "artists" don't!

I agree, that everybody should be free to express of whatever opinion he or she is!
 
oh well... isn't it quite meaningless, quarreling over him? I mean, he doesn't know it, does he?
anyway, this threads really make me laugh... thank you very much...
