They both have great looks, but since I'm not a huge fan of either man, I voted for voices - that's what matters to me.

I like the lyrics. I can't really vote for any of the other categories since you've put hyde and Gackt together.

1. I don't like Gackt's looks. (Don't shoot me. I'm just saying he's not my type)

2. They've got good voices, but so do other singers I listen to. hyde sounds crap in a few lives I've heard (I think they're both getting old.)

3. Type of music? They have a specific type? Uh... I don't think you'd be able to categorise hyde or Gackt as a specific 'type'.

So it all comes down to the lyrics for me. I think hyde has slightly better lyrics than Gackt. But that could just be me.

It's all about the talent, man. :haihai: Sure, they're wicked beautiful but if it wasn't for their talent we wouldn't know who the f**k they were. Besides, with voices like theirs who needs looks? Yeah, they help but Gawd those voices! They are both extremely talented vocalists, lyricists, and composers (and Hyde, at least, is a fantastic actor!). In the end, it's the talent that really matters not the looks.

I'm normally a yaoi fan but Gackhai really annoys me. They over did it by far. Instead of a fun fanservice thing, it turned into a big commercial trend and provided everything under the sun EXCEPT the actual fanservice. Let their fans do the imagining. =_=

Ano...I don't think they were "putting on a show" or something like that just for fans or whatever. I think they really are that close of friends. I don't think it's a fanserivce thing or a commercial ploy. But maybe that's just me.

I think (as far as I could know it, which isn't much! ><) they are good friends, I don't have a problem with that side of it as regards fanservice and that, as it's a thing lots of j-rockers do anyway, I think what Elanor was saying is that it gets way too hyped up and people exaggerating in their own minds and getting all obsessed over GacktxHyde.
