What languages do you speak at native or near native level ?

French and English, I'm almost native to Japanese but it is still difficult for me to follow conversations sometimes.
 
French is my first language, but I grew up in Montreal so I've learned English quite naturally. Now I'm trying to learn Japanese, which is not easy but really interesting.
 
My native language is Hebrew, as I live in Israel. I speak a little Arabic - I learnt it at school, but I think my Japanese is becoming better than my Arabic now. In English, I can write and read perfectly well, but I soemtimes have trouble understanding spoken English. Perhaps it's because I almost never get to speak or hear English in everday life.
 
I speak english and spanish but i learned spanish first...Right now I am trying to learn Japanese and Mandarin chinese =)
 
My mother tongue is Portuguese, though I reckon my English isn't all that bad either...

I can also speak French and Spanish quite easily, though not exactly at native levels, and I have a mild dominance of German and Italian, enough to understand what's being said and mantain a non-philosophical/technical conversation.

I only have a basic level of Nihongo (enough to get my bearings ), but not enough to discuss anything remotely complex... I hope to change that in the future.
 
Hola, newbie here! (haha, not the place I know, feel lazy to go to member's intro)

Anyway, hmm.. first language is English, although am a Chinese. I speak Cantonese as well, but not much. My whole family speaks good Cantonese except me. Am what Chinese people will call a 'banana'. You know, yellow on the outside, and white inside, which means, chinese outside, but caucasian inside, hahah. I also know Malay and a spatter of Mandarin. I used to know a bit of Tamil as well. It's a big pot of language in Malaysia...

Will learn Mandarin and French after I learn Japanese. Not good at languages, but hey, cant say I didn't try...
 
Fluent in Ukrainian, Russian and English. Took 3 years of French, so I know some of that, and recently picked up Japanese... Yush, 5 languages, so pwnful

Siyempre Pilipino. At saka Ingles. Ilan sa mga salitang Pilipino ay hango sa Kastila. Pero, hindi pa rin ako marunong mag-Kastila.
(Of course, Filipino. And English. Some of the Filipino words came from Spanish.Although I don't know how to speak Spanish still)
 
My mother tongue is English. I do know a little bit of Japanese, and Spanish, though!

My languages (Why didnt I answer this one??)

In order of proficiency:

1: English
2: Korean
3: Japanese
4: Maori
5: Mixture of German, Thai, Mandarin, Khmer, Spanish (All of these are at a super poor level, just want it to look good )
 
I speak Filipino (which is basically improvised Tagalog), English and some Japanese. But I wish I could still learn more... maybe I'll learn Italian or Spanish next time.

I tried French once but the I had a very hard time pronouncing them. There's just too many nasals and other sounds that is not native to my language. ﾅｽc窶抂ﾂ、I actually find it very classy.
 
Let's see...

I speak fluent English, have studied Japanese for 3½ years (Enough to do the JLPT to level 4.)
I know some basic Mäori phrases and a few simple structures in Spanish.

I'd also like to learn Arabic as I have some relatives who have moved to Arabia.
 
Italian of course...then english, french, spanish and a little bit (veeeeery little bit) of japanese ^^''... but i'd like to learn more foreign languages.
 
Hello. I'm pure chinese from Singapore. I can speak fluent English, Chinese and some dialects like Teochew and Hokkien. Hope to make friends with japanese and learn some basic japanese language.
 
My mother tongue is Chinese (to be exact Cantonese) but I'm also equally as fluent (if not more) fluent in English. I guess you could say I have two "native" languages! Hehe

I've spent the first half of my life speaking Chinese, the second half (so far) speaking English... they are probably about the same. And hopefully my third language will be Japanese ^^

I want to learn Italian or Spanish.
 
Mother tongue is Slovenian, of course

Second language is english. Then I speak some "deutsch" - german and latin (which I really want to improve *cry*).
