Ehhh... i'm just curious to know what the girls think here,,,, but um depending on what a guy wears don't u think that makes a difference in first impressions or impressions in general, i mean sometimes clothes can make u look better or worse...any thoughts ?

Yeah... in fact, there was a thread at one time (in the dim and distant past ) about how what you wear affects the way people perceive you and the impressions they get...

I think different styles suit different natural appearences of men.. just the same as with women.. physical features.. like for instance, your natural skin/hair/eye colouring affects which colours look good on you.. so it varies from person to person.

This is just my hazy opinion but i think some styles suit well to particular physical type.. but it mainly depends on the individual and all sorts of things like their body-language, the way they stand and subtle stuff like that.. but imo it works for people to play to their natural "strengths".. for instance, if a guy is well-built and muscular, i think these kinds of guys look good in things like jeans (of the not-too-smart variety XD), workmen's clothes e.g. a bit tatty shirts, old T-shirts, boots.. or a uniform.. or perhaps sports kit of some sort... whereas if a guy is not so strongly-built but rather slender and delicate-looking, imo he would do well to go for "intellectual" appearence (even if he is not really particularly brainy! XD).. wearing something smart, like a suit... and there are certain "stereotype" looks too.. example, tall slim guys nearly always look good in suits or as goths (XD).. and tall well-built guys carry off the punk or metal look well.. but then again, everyone is different.. it's just kinda stereotypes i'm thinkin.. but i certainly think it's best to play to ur natural look and make the most of ur strengths..

I agree, but he has to be under 5 ft, have darkish complexion with short black hair for it to really work. I can think of a lot of guys that would look terrible in white and are either too tall or fat for jeans.

Well, OK, maybe until my height of about 5 ft 5 inches.... but 5 feet is perfectly legal for a Japanese date. Jeans only draw attention to the the length and narrowness of tall men's legs which looks a little weird to me. I would recommend either baggy or pleated pants for casual and of course a dark suit for work.

Not all tall men have skinny legs. I unfortunately have moderately thin legs. BUT my legs are not very hairy.....uhm some people think I shave.

Even for Japanese guys 5' is still tiny, not all Japanese people are miniscule! (my Japanese b/f was around 5' 8'' which seemed quite "average" :? )... Oh, and tall guys can wear baggyish jeans ... or maybe I'm just odd for liking guys with long skinny legs.

That may have been a slight exaggeration....up to 5' 2'' is still acceptable but I'm a little over 5' 5'' and I don't know, maybe I just like to have the illusion of being dominating and in control.
