The Manga for Me?

I love anime and I watch it as much as I can, but I also want to get into manga. I have been looking around trying to find something that would interest me but I can't find anything I really want. Could you guys recommend a manga I would like. The animes I love are: Neon Genesis Evangelion, Blue Gender, Rurouni Kenshin, .hack//SIGN, the NGE Movies, the RK Movies, and Trigun.

For that type, I would recommend Samurai Deeper Kyo. Although there isn't much animation, more like panned stills, it's very intense, and quite fun to watch. Not the kick-back-and-relax type by any means of the imagination, but SDK is pretty good.

If you like Trigun, you might like Hellsing. It's a pretty good manga. Or maybe FLCL. That's more humor though.

You might try the manga for any of the anime's that you like? I hear Ramna 1/2 is really good, but I haven't gotten to read it yet, and Death Note is always a good choice! Eva is one of my favorite anime though!

Reccomendations

I would reccomend the anime/manga of Death Note, Gunslinger Girl and Hell Girl. I know you did ask for manga, but check out the anime of Code Geass if you haven't already. It is a fantastic story.

You may like GetBackers. Good story and characters, hybrid fantasy-future reality setting. I've heard becomes very shounen after and first couple of arcs, but if you enjoy shounen, it a good series which isn't as popular.

How could I find Osamu Tezuka's style among Manga artists nowaday?Tezuka's books such as Phoenix, The Crater, Clockwork Apple gives me chill even though they are just manga.
