It's been raining everyday for 2 weeks straight where I live. It is forcing me to think about something funny to not be depressed, but I just thought about a sad story I heard.

There was a planet where it kept raining everyday for 4 years, but one day the sun came out.
At school, kids were overjoyed and jumping around outside in the sunlight except one little girl, who was locked in a closet when the sun finally appeared.
The kids were so mean that they locked her in the closet, so she could only see the light coming through a crack, and she played by moving her hands to feel the sunlight.

I know I might sound rather uncivilised by so saying, but I've been putting some sense into my monitor every time she goes a bit fuzzy if you know what I mean. And it works all the time; some times with just one light tap brings back her smarts, sometimes a couple of heavy blows that do get on my nerves, ouch. I consider it a congenital defect - one reason I rate LG products one class below those made by Samsung.

@misa.j: Some kids can be so mean-it must be the animal nature hard-wired. This Monday I witnessed a gang of junior high schoolers bullying one kid for money.I was on a bus, and it took me too long to figure out what was going on; by that time the bus had started. I wish I had stuck my head out the window to scare them off, but I couldn't. Some kids who can't find meaningful things to do will run around like a swarm of flies just to have some easy, hurtful fun. O how I hate humanity when I see those young maggots !

A bit of a rant from me. I'm getting old, I'm allowed to.
I've just come in after posting something through a friends letter box. As I was getting back in my car a battered car passed me with the radio playing at full blast. Why? It was driven by a young lad,as usual, who must be trying his best to deafen himself before he hits 21. What is it with some people to buy a cheap rust bucket at 17 (driving age in the UK) and promptly fit it with a sound system that is more expensive than the car? They then play bad music loudly thinking that everyone in the world wants to listen to their bad music. It is usually something with a bass line so heavy it is a wonder that the windows don't shatter. Do they honestly think it impresses people? Most people I know look at them and think "P*ick". Does it really impress the ladies? All I know is that it annoys me. Normal people can sit in their own cars listening to their music without bothering others, so why do they play it loud? Please tell me I'm not the only one who finds this bloody annoying, or am I becomeing a grumpy old fart?

Nah, I'm just kidding. Even someone as pure and handsome and innocently young as I am hates that kind of behavior, too. Not only is the bassline way too heavy, but it's also repetitive and plain bad. My theories for the boombox thing is that either 1) they are already deaf and are trying to turn up the music waaaay high because they can't hear a sodding thing, or 2) realizing that they have such horrible, horrible musical taste and finding no way around their curse, they are actively pursuing to make themselves deaf. Better to kill their ears than to live in a nightmare in which they actually like that kind of junk music!

And agreed with the speedomaniacs. Except that I hate all speedomaniacs. Can't people be more careful around each other?

Speedomaniacs suck big time. How about those idiots that go 90 MPH in a 70 MPH, and end of causing a hit and run, or an accident, but refuse to take responisbility for their actions? Or how about the idiots that never use their indicators when they make a turn at an interection, or better yet the idiots who never wave back after you let them go before you on a turn at an intersection even though you had the right away? I swear people with poor traffic sense piss me off!

My girlfriend of 3 years and over is once AGAIN having a momment and all wanting to break-up and stuff, and i dunno, i thought since its only until christmas, this wait wouldnt be so hard as the one from last christmas to summer but, whats even worse is im ill with the flu and i just feel like giving up you know?, part of me is starting to think "maybe i should just move on" and that stupid U_U i know i love her so much, she is the most important person in my life and, she really is THE O N E (dundun duuun!) but she seems to have changed since she came back to japan, its like part of my girlfriend died on the plane and was replaced with this girl that can be hurtful and uncaring and can easily start a fight.

So yeah, nothing like relationship problems with the missus to make you relise your an old fogey adult.

I hear ya doc, we got this long street down to the beach, and it seems perfect for racing so all the boy-racers race it especially at night, though ive never heard of a car crash there im sure it happens, funny thing is no matter what the police do they cant seem to stop it. ☝

I think the issue that pisses folk off apart from being annoying is they dont care, i HATE chavs, i hate those stupid looking estate rats who dont give a sh** for anyone or anything but their own poor taste and anti-social behaviours, i cant STAND people who wallow in their own writhing crawling massive ignorance, not only are they as thick as treacle, they dont CARE! :| they WANT to be retards, they WANT to be selfish scum that generally make asses of themselves and upset any public place they go, they WANT to be totaly un-empathetic, selfish greedy but LAZY asses.

Sorry for the rant i live on the edge of one of these chav-hives, so ive had to grow up running from teenagers when i was a little boy, who wanted to beat me up for no other reason then i was an easy target...jerks.

I guess they are everything i dislike about the human condition rolled into one (in)convenient package of terror.

Being the low-key kinda guy I am, I rarely have anything to rant about, but that changed at 12:01 a.m. (eastern standard time) when Philly's mass transit system SEPTA officially ground to a halt as it's transit workers union went on strike, idling the buses, trains and trolleys, effectively stranding thousands of riders throughout the city. Only SEPTA's regional rail system is still running as their workers belong to a different union.

The issue between SEPTA and the union that caused the strike is health benefits, SEPTA wants the union to co-pay for same, the union doesn't, and here we stand, in no man's land. At least the union had the courtesy to begin this strike at midnight, the last time that happened, in 1998, the union hit the bricks at high noon, stranding thousands of people throughout the city. And back then, the strike was in June with kids out of school. This time, it's painfully different.

Even though I planned ahead and, thanks to my car, and being able to drive and park near to a regional rail station for the trip into center city (where driving would be a certified nightmare), it's still pisses me off because so many people have been screwed over with few to no options for getting to work or school. And then there's the vehicular traffic which figures to double instantly as people who do have cars will be forced to use them to get from point A to point B.

As of right now, no one knows how long this strike could last. In '98, that stoppage ran for 40 days. I certainly hope this one doesn't last as long.

I'm not exactly pissed off at all, just... seeing the clouds to my silver lining... My first aid course that I was so cheerful about passing has now given me nightmares about horrific injuries, exacerbated by the fact that my piercing, which I was also cheerful about NOT hurting, got accidentally yanked in my sleep. (although why a pain in the mouth should make me dream about injuries to feet, I have no clue... )

Well, that turned out to be more curse than blessing since I wound up paying a whopping $17.00 to park in that lot I previously mentioned for the day. In a word....

I'm bleeding.....badly. I'm being serious here. Let me explain, I've had an inflamed gum on the left side of my moler for the past three days. Well the swelling is finally starting to come down, but I ended up doing something stupid and now my gum will probably get infected again (probably worse than before), and I'm bleeding really badly in my mouth. I was eating some saltines, when one of them went the wrong way when I bit down, had a very sharp edge to it, and sliced my inflamed gum clean open. I feel like crap, and I'm tired of having blood come out of my mouth every time I open it to eat or drink anything. This royally sucks!

Nah, i aint scared of dentists anymore, but i still dont trust them.
