Also, here's a quick review of how to conjugate verbs, using 見る（みる） as an example:

ドインクを見ます。(I see a doink.)
ドインクを見ません。(I do not see a doink.)
ドインクを見ませんでした。(I did not see a doink.)
ドインクを見ました。 (I saw a doink.)
ドインクを見ています。(I am seeing a doink.)
ドインクを見ていません。(I am not seeing a doink.)
Doink wo mite imasen.
In all these sentences, since the doink is the thing (object) that is being seen, you use を, the object marker, not は, which is the subject marker. The doink isn't the subject of these sentences.

And yes, you should really master polite form before moving on to informal form. As I said earlier, doinkies didn't learn the informal form until the very end of my beginning Japanese class, and we went over it some more in the intermediate class.

How long should I study each day doinkies? Currently I'm studying 9 hours, but most of it consists of reading conversational japanese, studying here, asking questions here, and reading stuff on websites.

For example, "Let's eat! and "lets go! mashou~ let's do (something)

Ikimashou. (Let's go.)

Watashi ga hakobimashou. I'll carry this for you.
This is used in a different manner;

Katta is informal speech to mean "before" or something like that. I see it alot.

~nai is negative informal. It's also used a lot

Also, when you have an adjective to conjugate, you drop the "i" and add "ku"
I hope to conjugate adjectives soon.
