That actually looks really cool. Miike's work is usually hit or miss for me, but damn, that looks really over the top and really cool.

hmm, zatouichi (remake by Kitano of a 60's japanese film) is pretty good, although the blatantly digitally animated katana gets a bit annoying.

In any case, I'm a bit sceptical about Miike and Kitano working together...but on the other hand, Miike likes to use directors as actors in his movies (Sabu, Tsukamoto, himself even a bit lol...) so I guess we'll just have to wait and see. The trailers and such look yummy though
