After ten years in Japan I'm still perplexed over fruit prices, in particular grapes, peaches and cherries. Here, they are infrequent luxuries in our daily diet. I hope that TPP will at least result in cheaper alternatives for consumers.

When is TPP going to come through? They talked about it since I went to Japan in 2010 and were still talking about it when I left last year.
I thought Japanese fruits were over priced but now that I am back in Singapore, I realised that fruits here are also very expensive because we import almost everything. Fruits from China and Malaysia are the cheapest but I am uneasy with produce from China...

"Baby Car" is just a car for babies, not a contraction of "baby carrier". Quite honestly, if I heard "baby carrier" I would never imagine anything with wheels. That would be a "stroller" or a "pram".
