In an essay titled "Earth In My Window" 窶倪?ケ窶堙俄?冢窶ケ窶ヲ
by artist Takashi Murakami
in the book "Little Boy, The Arts of Japan's Exploding Subculture",
also edited by Murakami,
I came across the following sentance:
"Added to this is out own cowardly rage for accepting media control as a necessary evil."
Is anyone familiar with post-war history that could elaborate on this?
What and when might he have been talking about?
Could he be refering to only during the US occupation?
Or did this occur other times
