"Obsessed" is not an appropriate word here. Besides, what sort of food staple would you expect from a collection of islands?Japan is obsessed with fishing.
Just because you have never heard of such a thing, that doesn't make it false. Do a search on "whale" and "cosmetics" and you'll find that through the 20th century, whale parts were used in many cosmetics (probably what you interpret as beauty care). The Japanese government says that whale meat is good for beauty care and that grilled whale meat with curry is popular. But I have never heard of it.
That's your opinion and taste. Others with more talent and experience disagree:Oazawa is a famous Japanese conductor (See Note 1). But his music doesn't show any extraordinary talent.
I see someone with a name very similar to yours has posted this accusation on at least 4 discussion forums. Moderators, please take note of that! His father named him after his two friends, Seishiro Itagaki and Kanji Ishiwara.
Plenty of doubt here and proof to the contrary exists with a simple Net search on his talents! You provide no proof whatsoever, just like a real conspiracy buff. Besides, Japanese people put family names first and use them far more than their given names, which are often forgotten by many. There is no doubt that he became famous thanks to his name.
I don't even have a clue what conspiracy you are alluding to here. Are you trying to say that someone engineered the sinking of that ship just so some Japanese person wouldn't be able to vote?=== The Explorer Sank near Antarctica's South Shetland Islands. ===
The Explorer hit a submerged piece of ice and sank near Antarctica's South Shetland Islands on Friday (See Note 7). This event seems to be an ordinary accident, yet there are some suspicious coincidences.
1. There was a Japanese on board like the sinking of the Titanic.
2. Japan could hardly miss the result of the Australian general election.
3. The ship sank just a day before the election.
Weather conspiracies? Do you think Japan actually controls the weather to make life bad for anyone?.......

This whole diatribe is senseless. First you say that rightists and leftists are treated specially, then you end with a bizarre tale about some guy getting married and returning to Japan. What is the conspiracy you allege?Rightists and leftists in Japan are specially treated by the administration and invariably admired by mass media, and part of the public. They are often big-shot masterminds and virtually government agents. When I was a child, I met such a man. He was an eerie person. I hear he got married with a minority woman in a Western country and came back to Japan alone, like Fujimori (See Note 4) and Yoko Ono (See Note 5).

He came back "alone". So what?
Yoko Ono came back alone because her husband died. Did the spouse of this eerie guy die?
Fujimori came back on the run as a criminal from his own country where he was president. Is this in any remote way similar to your eerie guy?
What is the connection, and what is the conspiracy?

* in 1961 he was appointed an assistant conductor of the New York Philharmonic Orchestra by Leonard Bernstein
* In 1973, Ozawa became music director of the Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO). He held this position until 2002, the longest-serving music director of the BSO.
* he became noted for his brilliant performances, penetrating musical insight, and total command of the most complex scores.

This is the mark of a very poor reporter, and that is precisely what you are. Yes, you provide lots of footnotes and links, but most of them don't seem to support what you write. Support your arguments and claims, or you are merely writing nonsense, and people will call you crazy.I often post my comments just with circumstance evidence. Sometimes they lack clear logic and decisive evidence.
Well, there you have it! You put outlandish opinions and ideas as if they were fact, call them provocative, and then refuse to discuss them further. How can we convince you and give you "good advice" if you don't stay on a topic long enough to address the points?I would like to get good advice from you rather than to convince you of my idea.
Well, it seems you have some serious personal issues here. I suggest you deal with them instead of skewing away from them with totally unrelated posts. Ships sinking and weather manipulation do not seem to be related to your father, do they now?I would like to inform people in the world about my situation. I need good advice. But I'm afraid that social and cultural differences may lead some misunderstanding. So, I'm just contemplating the way I write.
In the conspiracies, I think that things are beyond the probability theory.
Let me show my conclusion.
Things that have turned out so far.
1. My father was the cause of the government's conspiracy.
2. The purpose of the conspiracy has been to silence him and his family about the naval activities during WWII.
3. The chief force was the Imperial Japanese Navy, Maritime Self-Defense Force and Japan Coast Guard. They are actually monolithic. The police, governments, government employees and stalkers are just troop members for harassment.
4. The stories are very complicated. And it has been revealed that they have been destroying some critical evidence. But now I am convinced that almost all the unusual events that I have experienced can be explained by the conspiracy theory.
If search engines are manipulated and you cannot believe information that people find, then how are we supposed to believe any of your footnotes as support for your "points"?You should know how the search engines are manipulated. The internet information manipulation is another complicated manipulation conducted by the Japanese government. I need more time to let you understand it.
So go ahead and criticize his work, as you have, but don't expect others to believe that yours is the only opinion about the quality of his work. The way you write above, you purport that only you know what is good music, and that all of the societies around the world (not just in Japan) are wrong about Ozawa's talents. The man, after all, is considered a national treasure for his abilities.I play the violin. I used to be a member of a university philharmonic orchestra. I know what music is wonderful.
This is not answering the question! You hit the nail on the head. In any country, minority groups are the breeding ground of terrorism.
If it is easy for everybody to penetrate a conspiracy, the conspiracy is never be a conspiracy. For that reason, I have written a lot of cases.More drivel (related to Seiji Ozawa):

As for the reply on fish eating in Japan, yes, you are right in saying that previously Japan didn't eat as much. However, the problem is your wording. Learn to use the right word. You wrote that Japanese are "obsessed". They are not. They are fishing to make a living. That is not an obsession.
I asked a straightforward question about your definition of a conspiracy, related to Fujimori coming back to Japan. You answered: This is not answering the question!
I asked about the connection between some eerie guy you said you know and President Fujimori. Your answer was bizarre and unrelated, spouting some unusual statements about dementia. This did not answer the question!
I think the best thing to do is ask for your definition of the word "conspiracy".
If I may be allowed just a short second of off-topic suggestion here, please. (this is off-topic, but is is short...it is a suggestion...please notice this cherry_cherry san)
I think you have the right to take time, yes, cherry_cherry san, JREF members understand that English is not your native tongue. I suggest, however, that you firstly deal exactly with the points that Glenski has brought up, before going back into a number presentation format again. Please do that as a bonafide JREF member at heart.
I see nothing so wrong with Mr. Ozawa--other than perhaps being just a tad bit over-rated. He comes here to Matsumoto every year.
THANKS FOR SHARING.
ACTUALLY I DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT JAPANESE POLICIES ALTHOUGH I LIKE THE WAY JANPANESE LADIES SPEAK VERY MUCH.
cherry,
A moderator has just directed you to answer questions and not post any more of your stories.
Please answer my questions!......................
I don't understand why you don't answer my questions, even though a moderator has asked you to do that.
You write about weather manipulation and the Kyoto Protocol and the choice of Seiji Ozawa's name. These are not personal attacks on you.
Please answer the questions I have written in the previous post!
Lennon was shot at 10:50pm and died at 11:15pm December 8th AMERICAN TIME, which makes it December 9th Japan time. So, there is no relationship whatsoever to Pearl Harbor. Besides, Pearl Harbor happened on December 7th AMERICAN TIME.
