I'm interested in franchising. Recently, a new chain of fast food restaurants have started offering franchises in Japan. Has anyone heard of SpudsToGo? It could be the next big thing! What do you think? They have a great website.

1. Find out candidates for you to grant area franchise for the market of Japan.
2. Establish your base in Japan and start recruitment of individual franchisees in Japan.

My advice is that you study your market and understand what it wants. Trying to push what you think it needs will require a deeeep pocket for marketing expense. However, it can be done. When Coca-cola first tried to sell it's product in Japan, most people thought it tasted like medicine. But after 50 years, it's become the leading soft drink in the market.
