Well it's because my Mother would drag me into clothing stores all the time as a child. It's weird like that. Stuff that women do I can just sit there for hours with unlimited patience. Yet, I can't wait five minutes until I get my hands on the next video game console. I'm also very truthful when women ask me how they look. If the dress is too tight on you, and gives off curves you don't want people to see (i.e. makes you look bigger than you really are), I'm going to tell you. If it makes you look nice, I'm going to tell you. Sure women may get pissed off at me at first, but then I'm gushed over for my honesty an hour later. I'm a girls wet dream as far as personality goes, and yet I can't get a girl.

Still, you could drag me to a yaoi convention, and it wouldn't bother me. Homosexual suggestive themes just don't have an effect on me. Maybe it's because it's just art, I'm an open minded man, and I assoicate with homosexual people myself. Maybe that's it. Anyway, my point is if I was your boyfriend, yaoi conventions wouldn't bother me. Now if you asked for me to partake in an actual yaoi act on stage, I would kindly decline the offer because I'm not too fond of going that far. Still I would attend coventions, and understand a woman's love for it. Just remember there would have to compromise, otherwise the relationship wouldn't work (actually no relationship would work without compromise because that's what helps make the world go round).

Docs attitude to yaoi is good. I think he's very mature in saying he can accept it, or even try to find out what the whole thing is about (not participating, though) I respect Doc for that - many guys I know just go 'GAY! EWWW! STUPID GAY PEOPLE!' whenever they hear of yaoi or shonen ai...

People not being able to compromise is the reason relationships don't work out; A lot of people are too busy following their own track and are not willing to accept new things or ideas. Difficult to change ones mind about something. I'm not exactly an expert either... maybe I should practice!

I know women are not supposed to be as visually orientated as men, but surely the main reason for the appeal of boy x boy is similar to why lots of men like to look at all girl stuff.
It is more pleasing to some women to watch two men they fancy,rather than a guy they fancy and girl,getting in the way.
This is my logic for the appeal of all girl stuff (and it is usually more gentle)

I don't know many western girls who are into it.
A female japanese friend from work asked if I was gay,and said she liked gay guys.

I do not enjoy seeing anyone being made to do something they are not into, even if it is acting, or in a manga or anime. This sort of relates to a post I made earlier.I find that a lot of hetrosexual porn(especially Japanese)is quite agressive, and rape is a popular subject in japanese stuff.
I really don't understand how anyone gets off on this.
