why they're doing that? i know some people like that and they think they're so cool because they lifes are sucks... i don't understand them, for me they are acting like that to make people pay attention to them... and i don't believe that there's some philosophy behind that

It's called the stereotype, but we should all, by now, know not everyone lives up to their stereotype and what have you.

but about emo stereotypes are helpful - they all belong to some social group so have something in common
besides to describe such groups (so their members too) we are always looking for features that have most of their members so in that case it's not stereotype but just profile of group

I'm up for both shounen-ai and yaoi, depends on the mood I'm in.
Sometimes the cute romance thing just makes me all soft and awww inside, but sometimes I'm in the mood for the more hardcore stuff. Then anything goes really, except for rape stuff, which is never ok.
I also have a general homo mania(gay fetish) though...
There is something about two (or more) boys, and it has nothing to do with gay men being interesting people, because a lot of the gay boys I know or have talked to is actually quite annoying people(not all of them off corse)...
