Besides stalky, I am interested in finding out how became interested in yaoi or shonen ai, which ever one you prefer.

how i became interested in yaoi - someone gave me kizuna and because i really liked it i checked some other manga... and thats how it began..

i think i prefer yaoi, in my opinion shonen ai are rather for younger girls like 14-15, most of sh-ai are too ..hmm..sweet, yaoi shows all aspects of life - not only those positive, besides yaoi is exactly showing what character feels and could be more interesting because of the plot - like yami no matsuei - i think its quite deep , maybe a little sad in some moments, but really interesting story (does anyone know it?)
and i won't pretend that i don't like sex in yaoi - i really like it but i'm not interested in yaoi only for that

I don't agree that shonen ai is for younger girls... *likes shonen ai better herself* It's just a matter of liking different aspects of the whole boyxboy thing. Shonen ai is cuter, softer and includes a lot of (sexual) frustration when it comes to relationships, whereas yaoi tends to focus more on sex scenes than shonen ai do. I'm not saying yaoi doesn't have a plot (even though yaoi means 'no plot, no story, no point' or something like that) and some yaoi stories are good. But the sex scenes tend to be a little too hardcore, or that's what I think. I preferr kissing, holding hands, leaning over eachother, whatever... as long as it's romantic and cute...

How I first got into shonen ai and yaoi? Um... um.. I kindo saw pictures of jrockers doing fanservice-like things, and realized I REALLY liked it.. and soo, I found out there was a complete genre for boy x boy and I've been happy ever since!

Oh, and... did anyone read this series? It's called Boys next door.. IT's really touching!!!

ok so i should say i prefer june - stories with original characters, i'm going to say it once again stories, because june is sth more than sex from first to last page , june = good yaoi stories like kizuna or ai no kusabi (you know them ?), they are worth reading

Her art is very recognizable. I was pretty sure it was her. Her works are so controversial I love her. I have Angel Sanctuary... so beautiful. I think it just about covers every touchy subject. Though I am not finished it yet... no hardcore yaoi yet... I don't see it happening... unless Arachne completely loses it and rapes Kira, but then he'd probably eat him when he was done... haha. Kira and Setsuna would be so.... *sigh* perfect!

If you guys like those, than you would probably like "Until the Full Moon." I Just started reading it and I love it!!! A vamppire named David has been friends with half werewolf-half vampire Marlo. Now, they are both adults aMarlo finds out that during every full moon, he (Marlo) does not turn into a vampyre or werewolf, but a girl!!
