I find that the women dress a little less conservative here as opposed to say Tokyo or Kyoto . Skirts and shorts get shorter, and a whole lot of skin being shown!

I guess that's all attributable to the nicer weather.

Though you can see plenty of skin in Tokyo during the summer as well.

Seems lto me that HS girls throughout Japan like to show a little skin, in some cases a lot, depending on the size of their tree trunk legs that is.

Some people may find this next comment a bit chauvanistic but that is not the intent at all......

I am married as well, and I appreciate a good looking female as much as the next guy too.

I like to think that women were God's gift to men and that admiring them, particularly the "better" looking ones was a compliment to them as well.

Also "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"

I do enjoy "summer time" in Okinawa as well, particularly "people" watching in nice freezing a/c shopping centers where "things" tend to stick out more than usual.
