Yesterday German Chancellor honors the person who drew the cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad.

Don't be suprised if Obama or Hilary honored that pastor later.
I'm glad our prophet tought us how to respect the others,The Eastern Church/Synagogue were saved by Islam.

Anyone non-Muslim can live in Islamic land as "Dhimmi" :
Dhimmi - Wikipedia
(This is a direct information link to what is written in Islam Sharia).

I echo what Half-n-Half said, but regarding the EU. We're done with distinguishing between people based on the writings of delirious, unreliable fools from centuries long gone.

Saw a rather nice comment about this dumb pastor and his stupid idea.
"I can't find a quran, so I'll burn its source material instead":D

Unless they were Meccans, or the three Jewish tribes who said he wasn't a prophet, or allowing his men to rape female captives, or the people of Taif who rejected him, and many more. Here is an article on how "respectful" he really was, from Islamic sources in most cases. I was particularly impressed by his respect in this quote
The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: If you come to a township (which has surrendered without a formal war) and stay therein, you have a share (that will be in the form of an award) in (the properties obtained from) it. If a township disobeys Allah and His Messenger (and actually fights against the Muslims) one-fifth of the booty seized therefrom is for Allah and His Apostle and the rest is for you. (Sahih Muslim 4346)

- Thanks for the blocked link,"The Religion of peace" is blocked here.
- I searched for the Hadith number 4346 in Sahih Muslim but 4346 is not that one above..
Let me do some search to explain it to you.

The US will lose in Afganistan. Actually they are already losing now. It will be the second Vietnam for America. Will see.

This is exactly what I'm talking about in the Suggestions forum. You are nothing more than a troll, let's talk. Where a normal person would expound the comments you made, you do not. It's absolutely infuriating to read crap like this. Your comments have nothing to do with the topic at hand.

Could you maybe go apologize to Korea again, let's talk?

It's just a book.

But you know.. some people take that religion stuff seriously. On the whole they're not bad people, just people raised with wacky beliefs that are kinda impossible to shake.
Kinda like believing there's a monster in your closet when you're a kid.

So if it saddened them to see their favourite book burned, I'd feel sorry for them.
It's like taking a kid's safety blanket and burning it.

So let's not burn Korans or Bibles people.
Let'em have their books.

Sorry but what you said is just rediculous,A book that created the greatest culture ever exist deserves to keep in our hearts.
That book made a big Revolution after humans were like animals.
If that book was not Islamic you would never say what you just said.

Even that democracy, most democratic laws came from Quran (depending on your info about Quran).

I dunno, I'm pretty sure the Chinese, Egyptian, and Roman civilizations were the greatest cultures known to recorded history. You're talking out of your behind again, considering the fact that the Quran wasn't allegedly finished until 632 CE.

Furthermore, I plan to picket my town on September 11th in defense of the Muslim community in my area, because I know very well right now that lots of Muslims in the United States are feeling uncomfortable, so I'm on the side that's not doing the burning. I hope that pleases you, Hezam.

That doesn't make me pleased,I as Muslim can't say any thing bad about others people Holy books especially Bible/Tawrat.
Anyway Qur'an is a complete way of life style,Social,Economic,Religious,..etc,if we don't have Qur'an and prophet Muhammad sent by God then Arab,Turks,Kurds,Persians,Berber,Africans, south asians, some europeans wouldn't gatherd in one country (This includes all religions in the Islamic world).

Please read about Islam Caliphate...

Thanks.

Am not, all three of those civilizations pioneered advancements in science, philosophy, metallurgy, architecture, medicine, and government. You can't deny that the Chinese civilization is the most long lived civilization in recorded history, and that it's inventions are still in heavy usage today.

Now would you take a jearney in the middle East during the Middle Ages :-)

No need to take a journey, Hezam. I've learned of the various and great advancements made by Middle Eastern people. I feel that the Islamic countries of the world today, whom should be making great leaps and bounds in scientific study as they had in the past, have turned to stagnation, and I think that won't last forever. Right now, we're living in a very chaotic time. So many things are changing right before our very eyes, and we'll wake up 40 years now, looking at an incredibly different world.

It won't be an Islamic, Christian, Pagan, or religion-bound world, but I think it will be great. All I want is for the next generation to have it better than we have. If you think about it, Hezam, September 11th, 2001 occurred when I was in seventh grade. I shall be 22 on November 12th, and I haven't been able to stop telling my parents and little brother how I love them before I go to bed, go to work, or when they go to work. The feeling I get if I don't tell them is terrible, it weighs so heavily on me. I haven't had a day's worth of feeling secure that my family will be here tomorrow since September 11th, and I'm sure many of my countrymen have grown up feeling the same way.

The choice is ours. We can set down the path of destruction, burning what we do not understand. Or we can set down the path of understanding, with which comes reconciliation and hope. The latter is the path I am taking.

I know, what i mean is Islamic civilization is the biggest and the most important, that's why we live in this Amazing world...it's a connected series of civilizations.

No need to take a journey,
I highly recomend you to do so.

I don't blame you because that's what they (the western systems) want us to be,They want Muslims to stay poor,Underdeveloped,weak,...etc
Have you seen what happend to Iraq ? they don't want a strong developed country,...
They support the most dictator systems in the middle East to keep poeple poor,underdeveloped,...etc.
Egypt is boiling and so in Turkey,Also in Iraq,Yemen,Lybia,Tunisa,Jordan,...etc.
We wish we can change our systems even by war if we can.
You didn't think Where Al-Qaeda came from or Why they appeared in the middle east.
All people here are very mad,why we can't be like europe,japan,America...Why we can't Invent ! If anyone invented anything he will get arrested or killed by the security.
Wether we vote or not,we will stay under the same system...It's not like you think bud.
You have the freedom witch we may not have.
Sorry for the long talk but i'm very mad at those dictators.
Most suicide bombers lost their hope, they can't change anything however they try so they bomb themselves as last choice.

It won't be an Islamic, Christian, Pagan, or religion-bound world, but I think it will be great. All I want is for the next generation to have it better than we have.
I strongly agree.

I'm so sorry for what happend in 9/11 it's a tragedy for all people, 9/11 caused a very big damage for Americans and Muslims, about 3000 person killed in 9/11 and as a result for 9/11 In Afghanistan thousands people have been killed and 1,5 millions Iraqi have been killed and still dying everyday even in my homeland ( Yemen ) and here in Saudi Arabia.[/QUOTE]

See,you are a good person even if you/me got mad in a bad moment but we still can avoid the bad acts that damage what the good people built and is building.

My Deepest sympathy for 9/11 and all victims.

??? Not sure I understood what you mean, considering that I never posted anything about Koreans except one thing: I said that in my opinion the Japanese government should give a J-citizenship to zainichi. Should I apologize for this thought?

The US government want a new excuse for new war,Maybe they want a Muslim guy to bomb himself or bomb a car or bus or any stuff and then they declare a new war in any name like War on Terrorism or War on Devil or any new model from the Congress & the Dark house.

US government, the Dark house?

The US government want a new excuse for new war,Maybe they want a Muslim guy to bomb himself or bomb a car or bus or any stuff and then they declare a new war in any name like War on Terrorism or War on Devil or any new model from the Congress & the Dark house.

Why you are talking about the US government? Because it has nothing to do with the US government... And what's up with the Dark house thingy?

This is one of the saddest things about new media... people just freak out because of 1 pastor in a small community wanted to burn the Qu'ran.

The US gov forced the Arabic governments to arrest the extremests muslims but they can't touch the other extremests from another religions !! this is unfair !
anyway,if he burned the Qur'an at his house without this blah blah blah the no one will care but to involve the Government and the Media and repeating it again and again !! Why ?
That idiot Pastor has a very shameful past in Germany,German Churchs kicked him out Germany at midnight but in the US they welcomed him in the name of Freedom of whatever they call it.

To that Pastor who never read the Qur'an as he said i will give him the answer to his idiocy from Qur'an (And that's what Muslims should do):

Muslims response should be like this (No death threating) :
Repel evil with that which is better. We are best aware of that which they allege.(Al-Mumenoon-96)

The good deed and the evil deed are not alike. Repel the evil deed with one which is better, then lo! he, between whom and thee there was enmity (will become) as though he was a bosom friend. (Fussilat-34)

Keep to forgiveness (O Muhammad), and enjoin kindness, and turn away from the ignorant. (Al-Araf-199)

Muslims be patient whatever the non-Muslims say:
Assuredly ye will be tried in your property and in your persons, and ye will hear much wrong from those who were given the Scripture before you, and from the idolaters. But if ye persevere and ward off (evil), then that is of the steadfast heart of things. (Al-E-Imran-186)

To the Pastor who thinks Islam is of Evil,See what Qur'an says about Jesus and Mary:

And this is about Prophet Jesus and Mary "God Bless and Peace be upon them":
(And remember) when the angels said: O Mary! Lo! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a word from him, whose name is the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, illustrious in the world and the Hereafter, and one of those brought near (unto Allah). (Al-E-Imran-45)

He said: So (it will be). Thy Lord saith: It is easy for Me. And (it will be) that We may make of him a Revelation for mankind and a mercy from Us, and it is a thing ordained. (21) And she conceived him, and she withdrew with him to a far place. (22) And the pangs of childbirth drove her unto the trunk of the palm-tree. She said: Oh, would that I had died ere this and had become a thing of naught, forgotten! (23) Then (one) cried unto her from below her, saying: Grieve not! Thy Lord hath placed a rivulet beneath thee, (24) And shake the trunk of the palm-tree toward thee, thou wilt cause ripe dates to fall upon thee. (25) So eat and drink and be consoled. And if thou meetest any mortal, say: Lo! I have vowed a fast unto the Beneficent, and may not speak this day to any mortal. (26) Then she brought him to her own folk, carrying him. They said: O Mary! Thou hast come with an amazing thing. (27) O sister of Aaron! Thy father was not a wicked man nor was thy mother a harlot. (28) Then she pointed to him. They said: How can we talk to one who is in the cradle, a young boy? (29) He spake: Lo! I am the slave of Allah. He hath given me the Scripture and hath appointed me a Prophet, (30) And hath made me blessed wheresoever I may be, and hath enjoined upon me prayer and almsgiving so long as I remain alive, (31) And (hath made me) dutiful toward her who bore me, and hath not made me arrogant, unblest. (32) Peace on me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive! (33) Such was Jesus, son of Mary: (this is) a statement of the truth concerning which they doubt. (34) It befitteth not (the Majesty of) Allah that He should take unto Himself a son. Glory be to Him! When He decreeth a thing, He saith unto it only: Be! and it is. (Maryam-35)

Read Qur'an :
Quran Explorer

i'm NOT PREACHING BY THE WAY !!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS THE ANSWER WE SHOULD SAY.

i just put some explainations.

lol Hezam you're posting quotations from the Koran with no real explanation on how it directly related to each statement or topic of the crazy pastor, telling people to read the Korean... then you say, "But I'm not preaching!"

You do know what preaching IS right? If you don't then I suggest you look at what you JUST posted.

Anyway, as for my side, i think this entire thing is completely idiotic. If he wants to burn the Koran, go for it. He has a right to do it (unless there are some pollution laws about burning garbage in the area) even if people don't like it. I personally don't like it just because it is book burning and destruction of any book I'm personally against, but that doesn't mean he can't do it.

Let these groups look like total idiots, they already do in my opinion. It's like watching immature three year olds having a fit over who is right with NO concept of logical arguments or thinking. Heck, the Westboro cult is involved now too, and that should be enough of a reason to ignore this crap. It's an absolutely joke, and after one laughable interview the news did with Terry Jones, it was clear this guy was just an idiot looking for attention and the intelligence of a child who can't express himself or understand even basic ideas. His thinking is no different than any religious extremist, just like most Islamic lunatics hiding in a room "studying" the Koran all day in Sudan or something.

I only find it a shame that we can't just let these idiots go away and deal with this themselves, but instead get to put up with this crap being in the middle of our daily lives. The media just loves to focus on this junk, even though there are FAR better and more important things to cover than these idiots. This is why I don't bother with TV news usually.

I dunno, Hezam, as much as I want to believe in God, there's nothing but blind faith on those vast plains. I'd rather live a good life, and be proud of what I do with it, with no concern given to Gods or Goddesses. Should I be wrong upon my death, and I end up in some other plane of existence, it would seem logical that I would not be punished for not believing, but rewarded for my good deeds whilst living.

I can respect the good that comes out of any religion, but there is a negative side to blind faith. Sharia law to me is driving the Middle-East into the ground. It's alienating Arabic people from the rest of the world, and that's not any way to handle a culture. Women should be equal to Men in all circumstances and aspirations, and yet that is not how it is so in the Roman Catholic Church, and Sharia Law. They're both very evil in nature for the way they promote hate. Islam may not be about hatred, but the way it's currently being interpreted is not the right way. I hate Sharia Law as much as I do the Catholic Church condemning use of birth control, abortion, LGBT rights, and so forth. The power they both hold is unreasonable and insane not to be horrified at.

Hezam, you, like me, know that women should not be stoned to death for committing adultery. Killing your daughter because she was raped isn't right, and viciously enforcing Hijab is not right either. Wearing a veil is one thing, but being raised to believe that men should talk for you, and other such nonsense is definitely wrong. It defies common sense.

So while idiots like Mr. Idiot Pastor decide to burn Qurans tomorrow, there will be others, like myself, attending 9/11 memorials in their cities and towns. A message of hate and destruction should not be shouted, but one of understanding and reconciling our differences to be more compatible with one another, which unfortunately in this situation would require an immense amount of compromise on the part of nations following Sharia law.

We have such a very long road ahead of us. ._.

This video fits the conversation and intelligence level of the topic being "discussed" Beware though, the language might hurt selectively sensitive ears!

Hezam... putting in titles isn't putting in explanation. Especially when you have other verses which could easily say the EXACT opposite of what you are INTERPRETING those verses to mean out of context.

Opinion != Evidence

A guy burning the Koran is not hurting anyone, and a person studying all their life in a room obsessively being taught ONLY of the Koran and to hate the infidel are not hurting anyone either...

...until one of them stands up and murders someone that is. (Although, I would say forcing children to read only one text and brain washing them is pretty much child abuse, and yes this applies to any religion.)

Lol Awsome video.!

Sorry but where did you hear/read that ?

It depends on you whether you have eyes or not!
your logic is very weird !

Studying Qur'an only is against what Qur'an teachs,The first versus in Qur'an was "Read" this is the first word said to prophet Muhammed in Makkah.
The Islamic world was full of Liberties like in Baghdad and Cordoba (in Andalus),also in Egypt,Istanbol...etc etc,And there is nothing like what you said about Sudan.
You know (or mabye not) where the liberties came from.
