Errr... Hold on a second, Mycernius was well on topic. He replied to the extra points I added to Uchite's list. Seeming that JFK was one of the people who instigated the race to the moon, his reply to my query was well within the rules, no matter has silly it was.

But , I am still in awe of someone who thinks altitude and its dangers has anything to do with going to the moon. Uchite, where are you? I am hoping you have read up a bit more on space travel.

The reason only 32 have been debunked is because at the time there were only 32 to be debunked. 33 is a later addition, which has an explantion kindly provided by one of the members there

The problem is its based on the assertions of 2 people in a video. one claims to have been a lowly airman 2nd class who just happened to be let in ona top secret bit of info by those in the know! the problem is the 'air brushed' images are clearly artifacts of compression. they show rectangular block structures common in many forms of image compression. (JPG compression often froms these in part of the process that decomposed the image into series of samller blocks before applying techniques similar to fourier transforms on them). They also have the issue of these objects not showing up in imagery taken by later more powerful probes that have been launched not only but the Us but by other nations as well.

Computer software and languages where being written in the 60s such as COBOL and FORTRAN. Plus NASA and the Soviet Union had been using computers to launch satellites since Sputnik

How? Didn't affect Yuri Gagarin when he went into space. John Glenn was in the ionosphere for 3 orbits when he went into space, in 1962. Again your statement is a blind assertion made with no evidence.

I find it interesting that no one has so far commented on the link I posted asserting that we probably did go to the moon, but the pictures and film were faked.

Insulting someone for their views/opinion is unwarranted and childish because to date no one has been able to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that we actually landed on the moon other than quote and link to NASA videos, links refuting the skeptics, a couple of pictures that show absolutely nothing, yada, yada, yada. Just because Neil Armstrong says we did, or NASA and the government says so is not irrefutable proof. After all they did tell us there were weapons of mass destruction (WMD) in Iraq and many believed it didn't they?

When people can't debate the points they attack the messenger or anyone whom they disagree with. As I've said before, this argument is like abortion or life after death, or religious beliefs in that there are only two sides and neither will budge on their opinions based on their own "proof" which really isn't solid proof. Only independent verifiable will settle the question.

There are the recent pictures from the LRO that show the landers on the surface.

The problem is, as has already been said on this thread, that the hoax believers will say "photoshop". Not matter how much evidence is presented to them their own cognitive dissonace will not make them accept the facts. Little short of dragging them up there and seeing it themselves in real life will convince them, and even then some will still refuse to believe it. Some wise guy will say that they have been planted there by secret missions.

LOL, I read the link and just b/c someone said they had a rock from the moon and they lied about does not mean man did not go to the moon. And why is it that this is only rock that has come into question? I am sure there are other rocks from the first mission going around, so why are they all not comming forward with them being fake too? Someone spun a big one , wheather it was the U.S. ambassador J. William Middendorf or someone who gave the rock to Middendorf, who cares b/c it means nothing in the argument on if man went to the moon.
