Am not, all three of those civilizations pioneered advancements in science, philosophy, metallurgy, architecture, medicine, and government. You can't deny that the Chinese civilization is the most long lived civilization in recorded history, and that it's inventions are still in heavy usage today.
I know, what i mean is Islamic civilization is the biggest and the most important, that's why we live in this Amazing world...it's a connected series of civilizations.
No need to take a journey,
I highly recomend you to do so.
Hezam. I've learned of the various and great advancements made by Middle Eastern people. I feel that the Islamic countries of the world today, whom should be making great leaps and bounds in scientific study as they had in the past, have turned to stagnation, and I think that won't last forever. Right now, we're living in a very chaotic time. So many things are changing right before our very eyes, and we'll wake up 40 years now, looking at an incredibly different world.
I don't blame you because that's what they (the western systems) want us to be,They want Muslims to stay poor,Underdeveloped,weak,...etc
Have you seen what happend to Iraq ? they don't want a strong developed country,...
They support the most dictator systems in the middle East to keep poeple poor,underdeveloped,...etc.
Egypt is boiling and so in Turkey,Also in Iraq,Yemen,Lybia,Tunisa,Jordan,...etc.
We wish we can change our systems even by war if we can.
You didn't think Where Al-Qaeda came from or Why they appeared in the middle east.
All people here are very mad,why we can't be like europe,japan,America...Why we can't Invent ! If anyone invented anything he will get arrested or killed by the security.
Wether we vote or not,we will stay under the same system...It's not like you think bud.
You have the freedom witch we may not have.
Sorry for the long talk but i'm very mad at those dictators.
Most suicide bombers lost their hope, they can't change anything however they try so they bomb themselves as last choice.
It won't be an Islamic, Christian, Pagan, or religion-bound world, but I think it will be great. All I want is for the next generation to have it better than we have.
I strongly agree.
If you think about it, Hezam, September 11th, 2001 occurred when I was in seventh grade. I shall be 22 on November 12th, and I haven't been able to stop telling my parents and little brother how I love them before I go to bed, go to work, or when they go to work. The feeling I get if I don't tell them is terrible, it weighs so heavily on me. I haven't had a day's worth of feeling secure that my family will be here tomorrow since September 11th, and I'm sure many of my countrymen have grown up feeling the same way.
I'm so sorry for what happend in 9/11 it's a tragedy for all people, 9/11 caused a very big damage for Americans and Muslims, about 3000 person killed in 9/11 and as a result for 9/11 In Afghanistan thousands people have been killed and 1,5 millions Iraqi have been killed and still dying everyday even in my homeland ( Yemen ) and here in Saudi Arabia.[/QUOTE]
The choice is ours. We can set down the path of destruction, burning what we do not understand. Or we can set down the path of understanding, with which comes reconciliation and hope. The latter is the path I am taking.
See,you are a good person even if you/me got mad in a bad moment but we still can avoid the bad acts that damage what the good people built and is building.
My Deepest sympathy for 9/11 and all victims.
