I need to know because my directory name has been changed since i installed it so I can't uninstall it. ( >_< )

EDIT

MS Flight Simulator 2002

Sorry, can't help you with that. I'm posting to recommend a flight simulator called "X-Plane", which is a true simulator, unlike MS Flight Simulator.

I beg to differ, MS Flight Simulator can go from relatively simple to operate, to incredibly complex (for those who do not fly like myself). I have heard good things though about X-plane and would like to try it someday.

To the original poster: Gomen nasai, I am afraid I do not know the default directory for MS FS 2002, when I get home though I could install it and get it for you.

Sorry about being vague. When I said that MS Flight Simulator isn't a real simulator, what I was referring to is the way it imitates a real plane. The makers first created a model, and then defined it's flight characteristics based on the real plane. What X-Plane does is to determine the flight characteristics from the model itself. Meaning that the parts of the plane that do various things are what actually cause the actions in X-Plane. In MSFS, when you pull back on the joystick, the game does two things. It animates the elevator, and causes the plane to pull up. In X-Plane though, the game raises the elevator, which changes the shape of the plane. The resulting change in shape causes the forces acting on the aircraft to change, resulting in a change in its flight path.

if you have icon to the program, right click to access the properties, the click "find target".From there the uninstall file should be there,if not its going to be in system32,which is the the Windows directory.Tell then adieu

X plane

Xplane is coming along. As a heavy jock I would love to see the features and diverse systems modeling in xplane. True it has the accurate airflow modelling, making it the most true to life simulator. But i would like to see more add-ons professional or not for it, then it would truly be great.

So after you installed FS2k2, your dir changed?
OR you changed the name of the dir during installation?

If it is before, just search for the executable, or a folder name with one of the aircraft listed. Cessna. Search for that, it will find the folder, but the full dir name should appear with it.

If you changed the name during, just do what Aevalily said.

Sorry

Come on now...What? No LOMAC or IL-2? :-)

Sorry Rudel, I mainly/only fly civilian stuff, but I cant lie taking an F-15 around for a spin once and a while. Come to think of it I havent played a combat sim in a while.

Thanks
