I will be buying the playstation 3 because the x-box 360 and microsoft suxors....oh and the ps3 is 3 times faster thn the x-box 360 and 35 times faster than the ps2....

Gosh... well, I will buy all three eventually. I believe we'll start with the PS3, then the Revolution, and then the XBox 360... the thing is, I'm a hardcore Mac user, and I have a lot of scorn for Microsoft, but at the same time... they used Mac processors for the 360, so I should at least be able to count on it being a good product... but I still don't want to support them LOL. I love the PS2. I loved the PS. I have every faith that the PS3 will revolutionize the gaming industry yet again. And the Revolution... well, you'll be able to download every Nintendo game that's ever come out, other than the GameCube games and it'll be backwards compatible for that. Let's see... playing 20 years of games (including my fave old skool Final Fantasy games) on one console? I'm in!

I'm definitely getting PS3 but I am seriously ticked off. WHy the hell does XBOX 360 get Dead or Alive 4?! I miss playing as Kasumi and Helena! I am buying the PS3 because Soul CAlibur is going to be exclusively for that system, but I might get XBOX 360 for DOA4. I did not know Nintendo had a new system coming out. What does it look like? Can anyone post a picture?

PS3 of course! I don't believe XBOX 360 could make it to have such an extensive array of quality RPGs as PS3 is expected to have.

Boy All I Can Say Is......

you young people have good reflexes & sharp wits. I'm still trying to get the hang of "PONG". A friend gave me 8 or 10 of his older games and I couldn't move fast enough to begin to play let alone make it through levels and such.
I guess with my skills & abilities I better stick to checkers!

You don't need reflexes for all games Frank! I am totally uncoordinated, so I play RPGs, which give you plenty of time to think.

Playstation 3 will come with an installed software thingy, making it able to read Blueray discs.
Blueray discs are the new media discs that is supposed to take over the DVD market in the end of 2006 or start of 2007. these discs are capable of storing up to about 50gb and are therefore capable of delivering better quality and size to movies and games.
Therefore I will buy the PS3, then I will be ready for the Blueray disc when it is released so I dont have to buy a brand new Blueray machine (because DVD machines won't be able to read Blueray Discs) and wait for a year or so when Blueray machines will be lower in prices.

Blueray supposedly won't be taking over DVD's the same way as the DVD's took over VHS. So peoplen should'nt live in terror of their DVD collection or DVD players, cause movies will still be realesed on DVD's do to the price difference and the fact that regular persons dont won't to pay 25-40% more for a movie just to get better graphics which in the case of movies, only can be used to the full effect with a projecter (monitor) and a big home cinema system.
