I like all Final Fantasy and all rpg made by square enix! Always great game
I'm very interesting by the graphics cuz' I was a graphic student, and by the music. And I think Final Fantasy are best for that

my all time favez are the FiNal FaNtasies,KH'z and Threads of Fate (PSone title) well Im addicted to RPG'z by Square-ENix

but yeah there are a few other titlez i would like to mention :

Has to be FF. I haven't played it, but I have watched other people play it, and it is an amazing game.
Not surprised nobody has voted for Pokemon. I found it addictive, but hardly the best game ever. So easy to beat too.

Pokemon is very special Uhm yes Kingdhom Hearts a great game (thanks for the featuring between Disney & Square Enix) I love the playing of this game and all mini game on it

Kingdom Hearts was nice, because I love the disney characters (especially Winnie Pooh). But IMO the game was too difficult. This game is even for a gaming mania like me too difficult to play through (I got stuck in the whale and never found enough motivation to advance).

Final Fantasy VII and X were the best IMO.

Star Wars: Knights of the old Republic 2 was also a great RPG. I loved it to build my own lightsabres, changing the robes and turning into the light or dark side of the force

I agree by the way the game is more difficult than the last. But the attraction is better

I had never played to Star Wars, i dislike the character design but maybe it's a good game But i think interesting to choose the light or dark side. I didn't know that lol

i would like to choose grandia but i think that final fantasy is rthe best rpg that i had never seen in all my life. and my favorite ff is ff8 and ff12 because the story is very intresting.

Final Fantasy games are great, but the turn-based fighting system can get dull real quick.

Cames like Kingdom Hearts really breathe some life into RPGs. Also the same can be said for Buldar's Gate.

In my opinion Final Fantasy VII although it doesn't have fancy graphics like the newer ones or it's not as flexible as pen and paper RPG conversions, it had the best story and it never got dull.

The Golden Age of RPGs began, in my opinion, with the release of the Super Famicom by Nintendo (the Super NES in North America), and it's first run of RPGs, like Final Fantasy IV. The PlayStation brought the depth of storyline and breathtaking graphics that would solidify RPGs as an almost mainstream game (where before they were always a niche market in North America).

SquareSoft is largely responsible for this, although Enix played a definite role in the rapid growth of RPG popularity. But I couldn't say what RPG is the best. They're all different, and they have all different merits. If I was to judge based on storyline, plot complexity, symbolism, and literary value, though, I'd have to go with Final Fantasy Tactics.

I think it has to be FF, although my favorate was Phantay Star Online. wow what a game.

Final Fantasy just has it all- great storylines, hours of gameplay, engaging characters, good music, cool sidequests. I've played other RPG's ( not as many as I'd like to) and they just don't compare.
The Chrono games are pretty good though, but haven't finished either of them yet

For me it has to be Arc, could be playing Terranigma on my SNES for days and days, just kept going round the world all the time.
Going to have to reconnect my SNES at some point and play it again, when I can that is.......

Tough one. I love FF, Golden Sun, Kingdom Hearts, Breath of Fire and Zelda. FF gets my vote though, since there are so many of them.

I remember going to buy Final Fantasy VIII in 1999. I didn't come out of my room for 3 weeks after that. From the time I put the disc in my Playstation, till Eyes on Me played during the ending cutscene, I would not stop playing that game.
