Wow! You have a LOT of languages that you want to learn.
Good luck!

Another American. Yay. I never heard of a danish language, but I love the food from there. They have GREAT food and COOKIES

What you mean to say about danish language "never heard about danish language" or "never heard or listen danish language".

Yeah. I never heard about the danish language. But since we are correcting grammar Danish is supposed to be spelled with a capitol D.

and it's Engish is my mother tongue. NOT English is "mine" mother tongue.

Hm, guess, I should say Swedish, but in reality it's not quite true, I'm actually born in Finland, tho I was only 2 years when moving to Sweden, and I know Swedish better than Finnish, actually, I know English better than Finnish, but I guess it depends on what you mean with "mother tongue" ... !

I'm not sure, but I think they mean all languages you speak well in.
I know a LITTLE suomi. But only a LITTLE.

Finnish is my mother tongue, I can speak both English and Swedish quite well, a little French and German plus a bit of Italian. At the moment I attend Japanese lessons - with no great success I'm afraid....

Wow! You must be REALLY smart to be able to speak that many languages. I can only speak one.

LOL. Reminds me of a joke I heard.

A person who can speak 4 languages is multilingual
A person who can speak 3 languages is trilingual
A person who can speak 2 languages is bilingual
A person who can speak 1 language is American (LOL)

my native language is german. then comes english. I can speak japanese, french, and a little spanish

Im from there. so it would be sad if i couldnt speak it

My point is you can speak 5 languages 4 fluently. and I knew only 2 American girls that could speak German fluently. And the vast majority of Americans could speak only English unless they are half something. Like half Spanish or fully Spanish living in America. Tho, there are half Spanish Americans that don't know how to speak Spanish.

I knew a guy who spoke Japanese, but his family is Japanese and he was raised in America. I knew a girl who spoke 5 different languages, but she's not American, she's Korean. So, I don't know any born and raised Americans, with American parents, would can speak another language. except the 2 girls who spoke German fluently from German class.

I do. I know an American guy who speaks German, Greek, Russian, some Dutch and some Maori (and English of course). And he's not half anything...

Mother tongue it English, though I am quite good at Czech as well. I'm trying to learn Japanese now.

My mommy tongue is English and Spanish as a 2nd language. Currently engaging in an uphill fight with Japanese.
