My native language ? Quite difficult to answer, since I live in a region marked with multilingualism.
Here in Morocco, the daily life language is Darija or Moroccan dialect. It's a mixture of Berber, Arabic, French, and Spanish ... the percentage of each depending on the region, the educational level, the person you're talking to, etc...
The official language is Arabic, but that's just a formality if you want my opinion. It's used for religious purposes (in mosque speeches, or for prayers), in primary schooling and high school, and as an intellectual language for some; but very rarely for daily communication.
French is the academic language. It's used at universities and colleges, and as an intellectual language for some. It can be used more often than Arabic for communication purposes (among ordinary people, or for some official matters).
Spanish is also used by merchants in north Morocco, but I've met some people who spoke it among family members or friends. It's also the intellectual language for some, but they're a minority compared to Arabic- or French-oriented intellectuals
Berber is the the language of the original settlers who came to Morocco more than 23 centuries ago. It's still spoken as a mother language by fairly a great number of people, but rarely written or used for academical purposes.
As for me, I consider French as my mother language, because it's the one I feel the most comfortable with, and thus I use it most of the time to think, to write, etc... but I use Darija to communicate with most people too...
