Just thought this would tease the mind a bit and maybe get a giggle during the process, clap:

"What will go up a chimney down but won't go down a chimney up?"

Go on, have a guess! it's really quite easy (hehe)👍 🙂

lol good try but not quite right, here's a little clue:) " it might just depend on the weather" hehe😄 now you should get be able to figure out just what this is, 🙂

lol now that really made me laugh🙂

"an umbrella" is the answer:)

It will go up a chimney in the down(closed)form, but can't go down a chimney in the up (open) form, hehe 😄
anyone got another brain teaser?, I'm sure we can have a few giggles 🙂

errrrrr ..... but an umbrella uses the verbs (open and closed) ....

heat uses (up and down) .... I say give Dave here a yellow card :D

Let's get Thomas to pull up a few from his links archieve ;)

Hehe, don't expect any intellectual effort from my side. It's autumn, and I'm already in bed with a terrible cold, sniff, sniff.
:atchoo:

@ moyashi Ahhhh don't be such a fussy duddy, clap: :)

This ones for you moyashi, a tongue twister, lol.
"How much wood could a woodcutter cut, if a woodcutter could cut wood" If you can't say it in 000.2 seconds my yellow card gets withdrawn, (hehe)👍 👏

hehe, like I said an umberella opens ;)

@ That tongue twister is that bad. I learned the version ...
How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if woodchuck could chuck wood.

But I found out recently that there's a second verse. Something along the lines of ...

If a woodchuck could chuck wood, a woodchuck would chuck wood.

Or something like that.

Moyashi-sensei, since you know a bit of doitsugo, try this tongue twister and repeat it as fast as possible:

"Fischers Fritz fischt frische Fische, frische Fische fischt Fischers Fritz."

It's a classic... :)

ughhhhhhhhh, I can't get the glutteral out any more.

Dam that's a tough one.

Japanese go .... (I hope I got it right)

ni wa ni wa ni wa ni wa tori ga imasu.

Something about 2 (birds -- used as a counter) chickens are in some garden ...

The second line to the woodchuck one is "a wood chuck would chuck as much wood as a wood chuck could chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood."

Here's a really good one. In the guinesses book of world records as the hardest tongue twister...

"The sixth sick sheik's sixth sheep's sick"

It's even hard to say slow!
