Weather thread!

It's COLD here in Scottsdale, AZ. Cold for us is anything below 75F or so. Right now it's probably 65. If this doesn't sound cold to you, remember that we think 100F is nice and comfortable.
Now while 100F (38C) is way too much, 75-80F (24-27C) is just fine, and it would be really nice if it wouldn't get colder than 65F (18C) in winter...

Temperatures I would like to have:
85F (29C) in summer
75F (24C) in spring/fall
65F (18F) in winter
... or just around 75F all year round.

How about others? Which temperatures would you like to have?

Today (5 December), it's an exceptional 25'C here in Tokyo (and it feels like 30'C in the sun).

It's currently 24ツ≫?ケF here in the Minneapple, which is somewhat strange, because usually by this time we are into the frigid temperatures coming straight out of Canada. I think skiers, snowboarders, and snow mobliers are pissed off, because we have no snow at all. I'm a skier, but unfortunately in MN, there aren't any mountains, so it is rather boring to ski here. That is why I love CO, when it somes to tearing up the slopes. I hate driving on icy roads, so I'm glad we still haven't received a significant snowfall.

I would like it to be -10 to -20C and snowy in the winter an daround +20C in the summer.

Is it 25C in Tokyo!? Damn... ☝

Last night (12/7), it got so damn foggy, I thought I was in Victorian London instead of 21st Philadelphia. Hell, while putting out the trash, I half expected to bump into Sherlock Holmes or Jack the Ripper!
:D

Ugh ! What A Morning !

Everything has a quarter inch of rockhard ice on it. Trees, wires, the car and worst of all the roads! With the heater and defroster wide open, it still takes 5 to 10 minutes of scraping to get the car ready to go. 4 wheel drive helps you go, but not much helps you to get the iron horse safely stopped.
Usually top speed on a day like today is 25 to 30MPH if you're lucky.

For some reason here we got back up to the 70s. I think the low tonight is 54, but that's still pretty warm for December. I know it gets cold here at least for a little while every year, or at least I thought it did. :?

Cold Wave, Burrrrr!!!

Todays high may hit 25* F; starting the morning at 13* F.

Frozen Frank

😊

We're starting out at 25 F and will have a high of 42 F. That's way too cold for me. Someone take me out of here! :(

That was only one day (just when I saw this thread). Now it's only 1bout 12'C. which is normal for this time of the year. 25'C is like a nice summer day in Northern Europe, and we had that in December in Tokyo, lol. Who said Global Warning ?

It's been colder than a witch's opai for the last couple of days. Monday and Tuesday it was about 15 F and windy for lows. Right now it is a balmy 20 F and still, with an expected high of about 40 F, which will seem almost tropical 😌

Here in Philly on 12/15, it was 16 overnight and struggled to crack 35 today. Thursday won't be any warmer. But at least it'll be snow free. That's all I care about!
:-)

Here in Copenhagen, Denmark it is a dull weather. Cold & wet. About 5-6 degrees celcius. :shiver: ☔

True, 25 celcius is a nice warm day in Scandinavia....

Jack Frost came calling Sunday night with a vengeance. The day began with fog that burned off by mid-morning, followed by afternoon drizzle that turned into a brief snow shower, then the mercury fell through the bloody floor. Right now (5:42 a.m. east coast time), it's 15 degrees with one heck of a stiff wind that rattled my windows like castenets. Monday's forecast calls for a "high" of around 25. In a word----URGH!!

Well i wished for cold...and i got it.

When i wnt to school this day, i saw that the ground was covered in ice. Hmmm, i thought and biked on. When i had gotten halfway there the layer of ice was still there, everywhere. Every cm och the streets and sidewalk as covered in a 3cm thick layer of ice. O__o Then i realised that i had forgotten my schoolbag (i that what it's called?) and i had to bike all the way back home to get it. Of course i fell and hurt my leg, so i thought "To hell with it" and decided to walk home and then back to school.

So i got to school an hour late and with a leg that hurt, yay for winter.

After we struggled, and I mean STRUGGLED to climb into the mid 20's on Monday, the forecast for 12/23 calls for temps approaching 60 with periods of rain in the afternoon. Then it's back down into the 30's for Christmas Day. URGH! At least it won't be snowing! I can live with that!
:-)

Ahem.

as of right now:
The City of Winnipeg is at: -31 plus windchill it is: -45
last night it was -52 :shiver:

I only had 3 blankets in bed and I woke up with a cold nose. :(
I need a snuggler.

This has been the warmest winter i can remenber. :/

Silver Angel: Celsius? O_O

Well, it's Christmas Day, and while it's quite chilly, more importantly (at least for me anyway):

IT'S NOT A WHITE CHRISTMAS!!!!! YAHOO!!!!

Same here, no snow until now :haihai:
According to the forecasts, there won't be any snow in the next few days either.

Well, it snows a teeny bit right now. But this has been the warmest winter i can remember...barely under 0* C. :(

I just hope that this "trend" won't continue, but the last winters have been pretty warm.
