I'm starting an official weatherthread!

Tell us how the weather is right where you live, do you like it that way? Why/why not?



Right now it's -2.9C in Halmstad (altough it feels much colder) and i wish it could be colder. But it'd all right for now, the coldness comes i hope.

Here In Maine...

the saying is "If you don't like the weather, wait a minute." This time of year is very changable. The other day we had a raging whiteout snowstorm for an hour. Today a warm front is coming through with possible thunderstorms. We get up to below frezzing temps in the morning and it gets up to 50F in the afternoon. On the coast, I might get just rain, while my sister 2 miles inland get snow. They say we have 4 seasons, but it feels more like hundreds of different ones?

I live in Sylacauga, Alabama. WE JUST GOT LUCKY. There is a long line down here, and the county just south of us (Coosa County) and the one east of us (Clay County) are getting hell from supercells forming tornadoes and stuff. I am glad we aren't getting it. We are having lightning and thunder, even though it's not funn, it's still not tornadoes ^_^. So that's the weather here. I used to be in to weather, and I still am sorta, but I kinda stopped. Especially since I am learning Japanese (^o^)

Well, I'm in Virginia, and I despise the weather right now. It's cool and it's raining like crazy. I just hate late Fall and Winter(the season, of course...heh). I hate ice and I hate snow. I just want to go somewhere nice and warm and sunny...

Here in Louisiana it's indecisive. We just got rain, which cooled it off a bit. Right now we're looking at temperatures ranging from 70 F (21 C) for the highs and 37 F (3 C) for the lows. It's currently 66 F (19 C). It's a nice day, though. Blue skies are all around.

In Cleveland, it's about 55 degrees Fahrenheit. Just a few days ago, it was close to 70.

And now it's supposed to snow tomorrow.

Oh well, we have a saying here, "If you don't like the weather in Cleveland, just wait, it'll change."

Currently, it's just plain cold here (near 0ﾂｰC). It rained yesterday, but no more snow for now.

Wait, I'll look at the forecast at weather.com... for tomorrow, it says -2 (night) - 7ﾂｰC (day), 84% humidity, wind from south at 11 km/h, 10% chance for rain.
Friday: 0 - 6ﾂｰC, 73% humidity, wind from south at 13 km/h, 0% chance for rain.

Well it's almost 4am here and it is 73 deg F here in Okinawa . Very nice weather here lately~

I'm here in Philly (that's Philadelphia for the culture-challenged!) and the sun's just starting to make it's appearance. The call is for high 40's with sunshine, followed by periods of rain tonight and into Sunday morning.

Here in the Northeast Corridor of the U.S., we get cold, snowy winters, followed by a brief spring, then insanely hot summers. But this summer, the watchword was rain, and plenty of it! Three separate and massive storms in July, August and September caused all sorts of havoc here. It's made me HATE rain, especially since I got water in my basement during those storms! AARRGGHHHH!!!!

Haven't seen any snow yet, and trust me on this, I won't shed any tears if none comes!

It's grey in England. Very grey; lousy Smarch weather. Not too cold though for this time of year. I'd say the exact temperature but I can't be bothered finding it out.

Well, it's a quarter to 6 a.m. here in Philly, and it's raining those proverbial cats and dogs right now. URGH! I hate rain! Well, that gives me an excuse to stay indoors and lurk around J-Ref!

Well....

the rain from Philly is just moving into Maine for the late afternoon & evening. Lucky us, we are having a little wind to go along with the rain. Sustained winds around 25 to 35 MPH with occasional 50MPH gusts, tippical November-December weather, except rain instead of snow.

Rains here too know. It's still around +7C. Gahr...i'm moving up to Kiruna, it's -28C there now.

Although it is too cloudy to see the sunset, the transition from the diffused light of a cloudy day to the darkness of night has begun. Although this autumn has been unusually warm, the weather today was more typical, with the temperature ranging from 0 C to +4C.

The gray clouds that have covered the sky all day tend to give validity to the forecast of snow for tomorrow. We have yet to see any accumulation of snow this season, although we did get a dusting last week as we were on the perifery of the big snowstorm that dumped several inches on most of Illinois.

I hope that this storm misses us too -- I'm not ready for snow.

Yay, it's snowing now! And of course i had to go out in it with just a t-shirt...cold.

There must be like 6-7cm of snow now!

Ugh !!

Heavy downpours all day with 40 to 50 MPH winds. Got dark at 3PM today and driving was hydroplane heaven. Maine weather sucks about 8 months out of the year!

It's COLD here in Scottsdale, AZ. Cold for us is anything below 75F or so. Right now it's probably 65. If this doesn't sound cold to you, remember that we think 100F is nice and comfortable.

Demolition Derby Day !!

Got our first real snow storm of the season today, about 2 inches in a few hours. As usual about 500 car crashes for the first storm. People with 4 wheel drive gotta learn it may let em go like a bat out of h***, but they take forever to stop!Gonna be about 10degrees F by tomorrow morning with a high below 40F, burrrrr!

Well, it's been calm and dry here in Philly the last few days, but it's gonna be pretty chilly today with temps struggling to reach into the 40's! BBRRRRRR! A darn good day to stay inside and gorge myself on college hoops! haven't seen any snow yet, and I'm glad for that!

We're having a day worthy of the summer months in here in the north west! There I am, getting my beanie hat and hoodie, ready to feel the cold, and it's nice and sunny!
