I felt really bad for the girls they harassed. With two strange men approaching them, I am sure some (if not all) of them felt threatened. That had to be scary. I think they should've have gotten some sort of ticket for harassment or disorderly conduct, and kicked out of the country. To pick up girls in a night club is one thing, but to verbally attack innocent woman on the street in unacceptable!

I just read on some comments that this guy is a k-1 ighting personality in Japan. I don't know how truw this is, but his name is believed to be Bobby Ologuin.

no, that's definitely not bobby. Bobby looks different and speaks Japanese (kind of) and not very much English. If anything, they're just trying to play on Ologun's fame.

Also, Bobby is usually traipsing around with a "normal" Japanese celebrity, not some no-name hip-hop wannabe; they're too busy doing stupid things for variety shows to be hitting on random girls on the street.

Taken at face value it probably was just harmless fun from their point of view I guess, but I'd have to say that I think they went more than a bit overboard.

(1) They're doing it is the middle of the day, when women walking around are not looking to be picked up.

(2) They're choosing women who are dressed for work or daytime duties. They should look for women who are dressed like them, preferably at night.

Well that made my morning much better, those idiots should perhaps wait a few hours go out and go to Gas Panic then they would have pulled. Now that you brought Gaspanic to light, I wonder why it is sooo popular in Tokyo. It is pretty much the only club in Tokyo that I have heard from people in the forum. Is there anything special about it??

okay all, all I'm ready for a total double flaming here, in part due to the controversial nature of what I'm going to say, and in part coz it's my very first post on this forum....hopefully enough people here will acknowledge the nugget of truth in what I'm saying though...and cut me some slack.
I'll preface this with the disclaimer that I hail from Australia originally, which I am proud to say is one of the most racially tollerant nations in the world, and I'm proud to have black,indian,asian friends...whatever!
HOWEVER:
I am SICK of the way that black guys(usually not African-American, though that's what they pretend) just hustle and annoy people over here in Japan. I have seen FAR MORE black guys trying to sell me drugs/hip hop clothes/fillapina women here, than I have seen black guys just hanging out or going about business.Why is this exactly? any suggestions? Also, this attitude in the video is very prevelant amongst them...and it annoys the hell out Japanese girls. Just ask a Japanese girl what she thinks of black guys, and she will usually(unless she is into hip-hop) will tell you stories about the annoying guys with thick Ghana accents who come up to her in night clubs and say "yo! you like USA baby!?"(direct quote from my gf).
anyhow, sorry for the epic and long post, but I've been fed up with this for a while now!

I will agree with Super on the fact that many of the african dudes syat hey are from america when they are not. There are many in fukuoka at the clubs they are very un attractive and just go around pulling on women asking "hey baby what's your name, let's get something to drink". Anyway I wish these idiots would stop claiming they are from the US.

This doesn't necessarily have to do with foreigners as it does actually deal with this type of harassment happening all over. Foreigners go to places for vacation or business.. not just to pick up members of the opposite sex.

I guess its all in your opinions of black, white, and the grey in between. If you don't understand, I mean what you have grown up to view as right/wrong, good/bad manners, racial views, etc etc.

This just looks like a couple of morons with a bit of high self esteem, messing with girls in the wrong places. Some girls like this type of harassment. You see, that type of behavior is indeed for clubs and such. A place where some girls might go that wanna be picked up by guys. Girls running errands or business matters during the day aren't prepared for that uncival behavior.

hmmm. they were pretty embaressing but not for me just themselves lol. When i was in Japan i seen Japanese teens acting simular in Osaka but with less aggression...and they didnt get any girls or time haha. truth be known these guys sucked (video talk now) and kept repeating things...which was a little annoying. Like MO in all of my time in Japan i never really bothered with any other foriegnors at all but watching this wouldnt make me feel more strongly on that as the guys in this video will be idiots in Japan, america or wherever they go.....they didnt even do it right....sigh. Ive seen a worse video then this on Youtube that was of foreignors acting badly in Japan which really made me feel embaressed.

Yeah, certainly, first of all, the guy said he was from America, I think even the Japanese could tell by his accent that he's certainly not from the U.S. He should have just said nothing about that, and anyways, they were in a part of Tokyo, I understand it was near Ginza, where all the girls they hit on were Office Ladies who are going to work. Second, man, I bet that guy could do better than a sweatshirt and a cap, and he didn't have any good lines to go with.

About the Youtube videos you mention, which I know which ones you are talking about, they all disappoint me and make me mad, 'cause ones were just downright rude and some were just so stupid, and I don't want a dumba** to worsen the reputation of foreigners in Japan.
