Translating bible study to japanese

My thought at first would be 研究の聖書, but google translate said that 聖書の研究. Which is correct, and why?

Your beginning textbook should have covered this.

研究の聖書 = A bible used for research/study purposes (loosely translated)
In this example, 研究 is moderating/defining the bible.
聖書の研究 → In this example, 聖書 is defining what kind of study.

You're right, I could have used my textbooks too. I guess I took the opportunity to join a japanese learning forum, and didn't think about my text and workbooks I have. Hehe..

EDIT: I have learned it, but I forgot which way it was, and wanted to make sure.
