Damn it... I thought they said one of the editions the artwork would be a surprise. I like surprises. My guess is that's the limited one since they released the other one first I assume that was the regular. But what do I know... well alot but that's not the point... haha jk. I ordered both so ha! Oh man lucky for me I just put $125 in the bank... now I don't have to worry about the payment for them. I feel so relieved not having to rush to put money in anymore.

The Protoplasm remix was like a bad, wannabe hip hop remake. It sounded pretty corny imo.

Something about Shun in this pic reminds me of Kaoru (Diru) o_0 , Satsuki looks like he stole Kyo's Clever Sleazoid outfit, and Takumi reminds me of someone from Kagrra for some reason. haha

I agree about the remix. It really reminds me of something I would write as a total joke on my keyboard with the pre-recorded sounds haha. I considered doing a remix, and sending it to the band to show them how much potential the song has at becoming a great remix!!!

I bought their new album in both limited and normal edition too! *the reason for being poor by them* From Brand X.

And I thought it might have been bootleg, too... since I saw the 'pressed in Taiwan' thing as well. That's what really threw me off since all the others say 'made in Japan'. The other thing that confused me was the case.

Aren't the singles usually in thin small cases?

You all bought both versions!!!!???? Shyt...I wish I had enough to buy both. Not that I can't, its just that theres too many other things I need...ahem "want" to buy. Jrock is putting a pretty dent in my pockets lol.

On a side note, I wonder why the limited version is priced so high? That DVD better have a ton of stuff on it...=_=

EDIT: the limited version is ALREADY out of print at CDjapan...I hope I can pay my credit bill before its out-of-stock elsewhere..

The DVD has 3 video clips. They remade Strawberry Oblaat for the new cd. How many times are they gonna make that song... haha jk. I love that song. That used to be my favorite RES song for the longest time.

It is cheaper to print cds through Taiiwan. It still bears the same product number and printing company so it's not a bootleg. I take it RES is on a low budget after dropping their producer, doing all this touring, and recording. If they are strapped for cash they know where to find me... we can arrange a business relationship... haha... jk... I have no money to give them... I've already given it all to them!

I only bought the limited version. I spent way too much money trying to give all the bands I like some love haha. I'm not crazy enough to buy two copies of the same album...I mean I'm not a hardcore enough fan...j/k. I'm a RES newbie, what do you expect hahaha.

What's the use of buying two of the same cd, one limited and one regular? Maybe it has something to do with collections, but I just can't understand it. I mean, I would rather buy the limited edition of their new cd, and maybe buy another artist's cd. It just makes more sense for me. And my wallet.

The album limited edition is out of print? How can that be? I mean, it hasn't even been released yet, is that only for online buyers?

Anyway, this will be my first album from Rentrer en Soi, I only have the Protoplasm single. Strawberry Oblaat? What in the world is that? I mean, I know it's a song title, but it sounds like a dessert..

There is no point really... haha... it's the same cd just the artwork is different. I do it because I like having anything and everything I can get my hands on by them. It is sorta like collectibles! Also I figure it's more money to them since lots of people download and never buy a single thing from them. So an extra copy is like making up for one person who didn't buy the cd. Fortunately, I'm more then willing to do so or RES would be working at Subway like Vidoll to afford to stay a band. -__-* (XD only 2 people will probly get that) I want to give them all my money. Maybe then Takumi will give me his heart... haha jk.

These cds won't be around for ever either and I'm gonna be an RES fan till I die... better get em while I can! haha.

Same here. There really is no reason. I bought both mainly to have them as collectables and... just to have them. The DVD and the different artwork helped this decision, too! But I've been buying their stuff (well, except for their older stuff like Yurikago because it costs so much money and it'll have to wait) because I like supporting them. ^^

I only have Spire Croid, but I plan on buying the new album and the Wither/Mizu Yume Miru Chouchou singles. I would buy Astre no ito and Kein no Hitsugi, but I though they were pretty mediocre for ReS standards...

Yahoo Japan is awesome for those things. I got the first press of Yurikago from them. I'm still waiting for it. There is a copy of their special x'mas demotape on there... it's starting bid 50,000 yen though... that is such a scam! :auch:
