haha... I just have to share these. I was looking on slsk for the new single and I saw new photobook pictures and was like "wait... they were in a photobook... and why only Ryo, Satsuki, and Takumi?" well... I downloaded them and it turns out they are extremely old pictures... I can't stop laughing... they look so different

I'm kinda thinking about this whole not having the single on the internet and I think it's kinda a good thing. I mean sure it's frustrating cause I'm an impatient person and I really want to hear it but it might make people who are similarly impulsive buy it cause they just can't wait... haha. Or maybe not... it'll be on the internet eventually... but for now no one is stealing from RES and that makes me a happy pikkuru... haha don't ask

I guess I have to rescue this poor thread... well the new single has a emerged. Anyone heard it. Mine should come in the mail tomorrow. I expected a little more for the remix and 20060225. The remix made me laugh. I don't know... I listened to it twice. It is just so strange... it feels like church music on drugs... haha! I might actually have RES songs I don't like now. The bootleg track 20060225 left much to be desired... it was nice to hear some old RES with a new live style but it's not a song... it's chopped bits of several songs... like samples... it's so abrupt... just as you get into a clip another one starts our of nowhere. They really shouldn't have done that. The title track though... Karasu Iro no Taiji... can that song be anymore perfect... my lord... it's too good! I'm not disappointed... just I dunno... I can't describe it... I think I'm confused by the second and third track... haha.

I listened to it this morning and had the same thoughts as PKK, so it's pointless for me to add anything else about the remix and the live snippets. The single is good, though, but I'm glad I didn't buy it and ordered the album instead! I'm wondering what the new album will have in store for us! Satsuki's voice takes my breath away haha...and those live photos in Cure...who knew what he has been hiding under those dresses all this time haha.

The album cover is pretty cool, it'd be a nice screen for a shirt or skirt ...

I have pretty much the same opinions about the single too. I have yet to pre-order the album though I'm sure I will ... I spend too much money on Jrock, well, music in general really.

There's an article on Rentrer en Soi in the new edition of Shoxx magazine. They look.....very different from what they normally look like. More natural, hahah. I was reading through the magazine when I saw a picture of this band, and I thought, "who are they?" and then I read the name and was like "whaaat??" Although, that might just be me being stupid. I haven't seen that many Rentrer en Soi pictures....

I'm such a bad fan, seeing only a couple of pictures of them. XD

Is it just me, or does Satsuki's vocals seem a bit "Kyo-ish" at times...not that thats a bad thing. I'm not saying that they sound the same, its just that Satsuki's vocals are a lot rougher than they used to be and he seems to have that "slur" that kyo has. Does this make any sense lol?

Well I guess thats one of the changes made when they changed from Rentrer en soi to RENTRER EN SOI. lol. Anyways, I think the new album is gonna be awesome!

Satsuki has always slurred since the beginning of time... haha... ok not really... but that sounded like like a very rentrer thing to say haha! But he does slur his lyrics even before these recent songs... Kyo wasn't the first person to slur. (why does everything come back to either Dir en grey or The Rame... it's like a freaking curse I tell you.... Diru did not give birth to all things jrock! And The Rame haunts my dreams... haha don't ask) Yes his voice is rougher but it's also more angelic than ever. I don't think that any change RES has made is a bad one. In my opinion they have all been for the better (except maybe track 2 and 3 off the new single XD) They have expanded their limits.

Jeez... am I the only one who listened to the clip on the OHP. I thought people would be all over that shizz... haha don't ask. I think it's the groovy song Satsuki was talking about... at first I thought RES is on drugs oh noes! I was on the phone and wasn't really paying attention to the clip but I kept humming the Austin Powers theme and I was what why? haha... then I realized listening a little closer oh cause yea it's in this new RES song clip... XD but then after getting over that and listening a hundred times I'm all --> get up and dance everybody... it's groovy baby! HAHA!

rofl That's so funny. ;d And yeah, why DO topics always go into Dir en grey, or mostly, Kyo. Kyo is freaking turning into the next Malice, or X-Japan. One o' them pioneers. XDD I guess because Diru is old..they've been around long enough. Anyways, I think Satsuki is Satsuki..he does have that growl, and that slur, but if you listen closely, it's Satsuki's style still. I do not think Kyo is in this new single, because, really, listen CLOSELY..You understand what I mean here?
