^^ just heard saw the clip for the new single and I think its okay so far not too fond of the rapping part XD but I get used to it anyways its still a good song and I'd like to hear the rest of it!!..the pv looks a bit like protoplasm pv did like same color B/W themed andd for their look I've gotten used to their ever changing style lately hehe it probably to fit the theme their going for these new music releases dunno if they stick with it we have to wait and see I guess...

Last night I wrote down the lyrics for Protoplasm. I'm still translating them. It's taking a while. Hahahah, the lyrics make sense in Japanese, but when I try to translate them, I get confused.

I thought this was worth mentioning... haha. My mom actually likes RES. I think that's so unbelievably funny. She hates all my music, but she said they were bearable and quite pleasant at times. She gets mad though cause she wants to know what Satsuki is saying so I have to try to explain it to her... haha. Well she's not fond of any of their screaming ones or ones that are too loud. I was playing CLEVER SLEAZOID in the car with her today, and she asked me where the other band went... refering to RES which we listened to the last time we were in the car together ...haha.

LOL! My parents can't stand most of the music I listen to either. I remember playing "Wither" in my parent's car and my dad thought it was a VERY wierd song lol. Since they can't stand Rentrer en Soi, I don't even bother with Dir en Grey, D'espairsRay, or anything heavier.

Hahahah, oops. I won't hit you, it's my fault for not checking the spelling. It was my first time attempting to write down lyrics in romaji. Some of the kanji I couldn't read, and Satsuki seems to slur his vocals a lot.

I was only wondering about the kyo thing because it was written using the same kanji kyo from Dir en grey uses. Hahah, and I'm pretty sure Kyo screams in most of his songs, so it might be him.

That is neat that your mom likes some of your music. My mom actually admitted liking Gazette's music. I don't know if I'd play D'espairs Ray in front of her, though. ☝

To answer that question about Kyo I think it is the kyo from Dir en grey because Rentrer en Soi is signed to Fire Wall Div (if I remember correctly it's Diru's record label) over in Japan and Free Will over here in America

Speaking of parents listening to jrock my mom wants to see Rentrer en Soi in concert next so we might be going to see them in Japan in june *_*

Riyko... dude... tell your mom if she wants another kid I'm adoptable and I love RES and Japan, too... I'm house trained and I make good breakfast and cake! I'm well worth it! HAHA.

Japanese-wise she's only been able to tolerate RES and Lucifer Luscious Violenoue... two damn good choices if you ask me. She haaaaaaates Diru... I don't think there is a hateful enough word to describe her dislike of them. -_-* She even despises "ain't afraid to die" ...I can't remember the word she used to describe it... it wasn't a nice one. I told her it was a classic, power ballad, but she hardly agreed with me. ^^;;; She like Last Word a lot... but damn was she confused when I tried to tell her what the song meant... she thought Satsuki was actually married (though he could be *shrugs*) and his wife died, and she just couldn't accept such a femmy man being married... or me thinking that such men are attractive... XDDD

I don't agree Satsuki voice is much more different than Kyo's like satsuki can go really high at times and has high pitched singing voice andd even when he raps still sounds like satsuki some times he even sounds girly XD LOL not kyo ....anyways while kyo has a great voice he is not able to do what satsuki can do with his voice ._. thus making both not sound similar at all! ^__^ am I making any sense?? no?? oh ^^well that's just my opinion... ja!

But I just listened to the sample clip and it doesn't sound like him. I like the sound of the new single. And that little rap part doesn't really sound like rap in my opinion.


Satsuki has an awesome vocal range for a male voice. I wish the boys in choir class could learn to sing like that. Heck, I'd be happy if they actually could open their mouths to sing. XD Anyways, I really like Satsuki's voice. I hope he doesn't smoke, so many people in Japan do. That would kill his vocal chords.

I haven't listened to the sample yet, but from listening to RES music and Dir music generally, I don't think Satsuki's voice and Kyo's voice are very alike really. Maybe at certain times if Satsuki screams or growls, it becomes slightly similar at that one moment, but usually they don't have the same quality of voice. Kyo's voice is a bit harsher, and although he can sing high at times, too, it's not the same type of voice... it's hard to describe the difference but Satsuki's voice seems a bit clearer than Kyo's.

Can't wait for the new RES album!
