agree, when a guy pay attention of his looks in the Netherlands, people immediately think that they are gay so that's why some Dutch don't want to be too fashionable, and it can be a shock for some Dutch when they enter Japan haha.
 
I know what you mean .... I was looking at some pictures of gackt (ect. ) And my mother lookes and says strait away that he wants to look western and he is gay !! (I was kinda angry... The hole week she is saying stupid things about Visual Kei music and the bands/ singers ... )

and if I show pics of Gackt they say he looks like a girl. ( I say no he's a boy. *shows pic of mana* HE looks like a girl (a handsome girl )

I don't think there's anyone that looks ugly with a genuine smile. I'm not saying that you should insincerely smile even when you don't feel like it, but my point was that you've got nothing to feel bad about, so you should have reason to smile.
And as Moffeltoff said, confidence matters. It influences the way you carry yourself and to a large part the way people perceive your person, often being more important than the way you actually look. What other people think about you is secondary, so stop being shy, give those that affect you negatively the finger and start liking yourself.



As for my age, I think it's the picture. That was one of my less-amused moments (my range goes far that way). The appended picture is less than a year old and shows me more being my age (or even younger).

I was just saying if a guy doesn't want to look good for a girl/woman he doesn't deserve her because that means he takes her for granted.
But anyway I still have to say confidence is way more important than anything else =)

Meh, I wouldn't go that far. If she coincidentally likes the clothing and style, great. If not, tough luck, because I'm not going to dress up for anybody.

On another topic, what's up with your apostrophe? Why do I get a ' where a ' should be? It makes things a little bit harder to read.
