Long time no see everyone hahah!
Ok let me see if I can remember how to do this.....
I dont know if it worked or not
Anyway it's my friend and I last weekend, we all decided that we wanted to have a bbq on a mountain in the middle of winter... what better time right? Haha it was lots of fun, and we found a flat spot to play soccer... only in Korea haha.
Then there is a photo of us altogether on the same night... and one of me and a kid from summer camp last year... just a bit of fun hahaha.
I haven't posted pics in a long while... (Deleted the old ones.. )
Here are two pics:
(1) A couple of long hairs--my kids. (Just imagine me as a close look-alike of them--plus shorter & gray hair, glasses and a lot more weight )
(2) Kamakura, circa 1955--me, my mom and uncle.
I agree, your kids are very cool looking.
Both of them look like they have individuality and are stylish.
And, I wish the one of yours was a bit bigger too. It's a nice pic though.
Here are two pictures of me on February 18 in Kahana Valley. I was fertilizing taro in a patch as part of my Hawaiian Studies class field trip. I thought I was smiling in the first one, but upon further review... I'm not sure what that face is. I don't even think I realized my picture was being taken in the second one.
The third picture is of someone eating off of ti leaves. We were supposed to bring utensils and something to eat out of, but I forgot both, so I ate off of ti leaves with my hands, unlike this person, who somehow procured a plastic fork.
Thank you, Glenn, misa-san, Kirei & Jeff, for the compliments!! But I'm sure the kids are going to kill me if they find out I posted their pic...
Glenn:
I was right when I imagined you looking like Bryan Adams (in short hair)!! But, I think you're looking more like an academic that you aspire to be!! (Despite dirty feet )
Taro field! That's a great experience! I'd love to do that, too, if I could!
We haven't travelled in years, we're dying to go to Hawaii again... (Urayamashii!! We envy you!!)
I certainly wasn't feeling academic that day: I wasn't wearing shoes because I was told that tennis shoes were too easy to slip in, and I didn't have flip-flops or sandals. It turned out that we had to do a fair amount of walking on rocks -- sharp, jagged rocks -- and my feet were sore for three days after that. But if I look academic, that's cool.
