Onimusha 3

Just wondering if anyone else played this game !! i just got it an i think its ace.
The opening scene is brilliant, and the graphics are excellent even tho its on the PS2. The combo moves ya can do , too its great !!

Just wondering whats other's people thoughts on this.

I've played it and i'm stuck on the final boss that you have to beat like 3 times! Unfortunately..I can backtrack to get some herbs or mediciens. But the GAME WAS AWESOME! I love his weapons! Especailly the ball in cahin and akechi axe! combo's were beautiful and so were the graphics. :haihai:

but there is this thing wich got me confused ....

you see, in the dar realm there is a box with a purple mist

and i couldn't open it, although i finished all the battles there ...

so i'm wondering how can i open it and what's in it :?

I'm thinking of purchasing this game but I need to know something first. Is the format different from the previous two in the series? I mean, when you're walking around a scenario is it like 3D (like FF) or does the characters only move while the scenario just stays still? (I'm asking this because Doom type games make me sick.)

I thought the game was great. I rented it from a video store for 2 nights but i never completed it. Because i was not playing it all the time, I just got past the part where the whip sword dude or FRENCHIE as i like to call him killed the oda queen.

But their was some annoying parts within it.

First you need a purple orb, you recieve this from the dark realm from either akechi or reno's side of the time flow thingy :haihai: Inside is a seal. I forget which one.

Now what i want to know is "What the hell do the seals do" :?

The scenary is like Onimusha 2 but wilder. yet you still have a direct path your suppose to follow. hope this helps.

Maybe the question I want answered is this: does the background scene/scenary move along as your character moves too (like Doom)? In the previous two Onimusha games only the characters moved and you moved from one still scene to another still scene. I'm just wondering if they have changed the graphics mode in the third one.

No it moves with you. The only time it goes into a still scene is when you go through a door. But like when your in the castle and go up the steps, the camera moves around as you go up. Real nice.
