What are your new years resolutions?

mines:

2.) Continue to work out like I have the past 2 months
3.) I've found a Love interest. Try to make this last I am not getting any younger.
4.) Be a good father!!!!!!!!!

Also what tips can you give to stick out your resolutions.
I suggest just keep a List attatched to the Fridge, everybodys center of information.

1. to go to school everyday
2. quit smoking
3. to be a good friend
4. to finish htis grade
5. to survive this year

1.) Be ten times more mean this year.
2.) Be ten times more grumpy this year.
3.) Be ten times more violent this year.
4.) Be ten times more apathetic this year.
5.) Be ten times more colder this year.
6.) Be ten times more indifferent this year.
7.) Be ten times more evil this year.
8.) Make sure that hate becomes my primary emotion.
9.) Leave the JREF Forum.

In all seriousness though I don't need resolutions. I have plenty of will power anyany. ;-)

Doc

hehehe... your wishlist could make for a great comic book villain

I haven't made any resolutions yet.
oh yeah... maybe...
Be nicer, more smiling and more patient at work. *grits teeth --> *
errrrrrr... be nicer, more smiling and more patient outside of work......?
That'll do for the next year.......

1. Get at least 7 hours of sleep a night by turning off the Japanese news.
2. Learn to play my guitar.
3. Get a new job or apply for a study abroad program or both.

My personality and appearance are already perfect, although I may still try out some anti-aging creams and (try to) stick to a 1,000 calorie a day diet....

  • Be more proactive, I guess.
  • Realize that everyone isn't as smart or as cunning as I am.
  • Realize that I'm not old enough to be taken seriously, and use that to my advantage.
  • Stop slouching. (it kills your back)
  • Stop reading so much (so I won't go blind/er)
  • Remember that teachers think that you need time to absorb material, even if you don't.
  • Go to Church
  • And make more time for people.

I'll try to stick with 'em.

1. Work out more.
2. Make many more young female Japanese friends
3. Go diving and skiing at least ten times this year.
4. Learn more Japanese cooking.

...

100. Learn more Japanese language.

  1. Be more selective when buying clothes so I can finally fit them in my closet
  2. Be more selective when buying sunnglasses, as I only need a couple this season...
  3. Be more selective when buying shoes, as some I only wear once a year
  4. Spend less time by the computer at home and read more books
  5. Stretch more at work and at home when sitting by the desk....
  6. Will definately be more active with skiing...which reminds me that I need a new pair of "after-ski" boots for the skiing holiday abroad.....

Dayum... you need a whole year to realize that? I'd say that you already realize it, no ? I mean then how else would you be aware that you need to realize these things... i'm getting confused... but good luk i guess

my thing is i try whenever i think something should be done. i dont need to wait for new years to tell me this. i start puting on extra pounds. ill cut back on what i eat and increase my run times... its a good idea though. funny thing is you should see how packed the gym is the week after new years.. lol then by 2nd week half the people...

Dearest Duo, you fail to realize that acknowledgement and realization are two completely different things. You can be subconciously aware of impending doom, yet think nothing of it. One can also see something that is there and refuse to believe it. It's difficult to explain.

That's pretty funny, is not just the gym, many start to carry out their new year resolution but like you said after a week or two they pretty much give up

Welp, 2006 has already entered Japan... (A side note.)

My new year's resolution is to try to get back to an A's and B's level when taking my classes. And get a job.

Ah,after reading your words, I want talk about mine~ ^_^

just a few days ago ,I have no idea about the new year 2006,but from yesterday and today I have got some inspiration.

first ,pass the exam which means important to me ~

second, get up earlier in the morning ~ and take exercise to make my bodily form more healthy.

third, improve my self-confidence.

fourth, there are a lot to learn, I hope I can make a big advancement in this year~

Resolution? What a novel idea...

Let's see...

1. Exercise and keep my weight down.
2. Quit smoking.
3. Do well in school and stick with it.
4. Put out a compilation of Seattle bands.

Brooker

send me a copy of your Compilation of Seattle Bands...

My new year's resolutions are:
1. make more money
2. get promotions at work
3. master CS2, MX2004, and Blender
4. read more books
5. did I say make more money?
6. Oh, save more money so that I can retire early
7. become more super-efficient at work
8. get a 6 pack ab

How many people will honestly stick to the work out resolution. I was talking to my Gym's membership counselor. He said in the new year they are packed with people determined to get in shape for the new but by the middle of the month that decreases steadily. I find this funny but also believe it to be true. I myself constantly work out but not as much as I should have until November last year I started MAX OT training. (Very Good program) And enjoy the workouts so I have continued to do them. I wonder if it is just not having enough time or plain lazyness?

I think it's laziness. A lot of people get hyped up on New Year and think signing up for a membership at a gym will help them being in a shape, but the reality hits and realize that they actually have to work which is too much work for them, so they quit.

My resolutions are:
1. Finish all of the Adirondack 46 high peaks, I did 25 last summer and half way through!
2. Learn how to cook with a lot more different kinds of vegetable.
3. Take more pictures.

1) get a job that i can actually work for more than a few months
2) stop disturbing the neighbours with the loud Deg music oh i just can't help turning the volume up
3) spend more time with my dog..
4) get a life outside of Jref
and lastly : remember my resolutions for this year and accomplish them

1.Get my grades up high enough to be accepted to London University and if possible even get a scholarship to be able to spend loads of my semesters in the US and of course Japan.^^
2.Get a second holiday job
