one of my fav films!! diddn't even like hyde til i watched it

well, it's not that i diddn;t like him it was back when i first got interested on all things jap and i was a hoooooooooooge gackt fan but diddn't know about hyde!! hehe 😊

back to subjects, i love this film it's so lush <3
 
Yes... Hyde is quite a jewl. Sings, composes, acts... and is cute! Well, I dont like much the idea of him being my height, but it's ok. Of course, im a gackt fan... They should work together more often.
 
I love Moon Child... it was my first real life movie from Japan... i watched it only because my mo told me it was Gackt(not know who Gackt was only that he was a singer from Malice Mizer) in it. It was a very good movie...
Like Gackt says when he made the movie it was to be 4 hour long but he cut it...
Gackt says that the movie "Makes men cry and women say 'men are baka'"
My dad and friend brother almost cried...

Love the movie!!!
 
very much persons said me that Gackt play in this movie bad, but i don't think so, i like how he played, it was a role and i think he good made it :)
 
I heard about this movie and that it had two j-rockers in it and I was like... OOOOOO... I didn't really know much about Hyde or Gackt at the time. I found the whole movie on youtube divided into parts. So I watched it starting at 2 am and I was up till 4 or so I never felt tired. I really liked it. I love movies that make me cry :( I thought Gackt and Hyde were both good and I was surprised by Taro Yamamoto! (He played Toshi in Moon Child) He was so different from the character Kawada in Battle Royale! I almost didn't recognize him.
I give it two thumbs up! 👍
 
I heard about this movie and I knew about Hyde and Gackt, I had my daubts about buying it or not, so I read tons and tons of reviews; some good some bad and at last decided to buy it online. I liked it very much, I cried a lot the first time I saw it, well actually I cry almost everytime I watch it XDD

Ive heard lots of ppl saying Gackt wasnt good, but I think he was pretty good just like Hyde sooo yeah its one of my favourite movies :-)
 
Wah, I love Moon Child. Gackt is so funny. XD Heh, but my favourite scene is with the stupid guy that wants to be a ninja .. So funny. :LOL:
 
YES, I saw that part more than once too.

I love Gackt. but i really think Hyde made a better actor. You know he's in a new movie now, called Last Quarter? I want to see it!

yeah i saw Last Quarter, but i don't like this movie! too romantic for me .... MOON CHILD is the best ! ^^ sooo much better that LQ~!!!
 
I thought they could of done MUCH better on Moon Child.

I think the worst scene was were Kei fell on the ground and that guy started shooting at him. And he started moving his head back and forth...I was like "Aww..come on!"

Anywho. It showed to be a decent movie because I cried at the end. (doesn't understand why they couldn't live on forever and be a couple for the rest of enternity...).

It was a good movie, but the worst thing about it...Gackt's hair at the end. Hyde can pull off not having bangs, but Gackt NEEDS them.

Yes, your quite right. I thought Hyde was the superior actor in Moon Child, considering he had no acting experience prior to MC. I loved Gackt, but sometimes his acting seemed a bit cheesy for lack of better word.

As a matter of fact, I think the whole movie was a tad bit cheesy. There were some parts where I was like "what" ? Like when Hyde flew of that truck he was sitting on and they went into a crappy animation sequence. Oh, that made laugh like hell. But, I've seen worse movies...so overall the movie is good.

As for Last Quater...I bought it and I didn't really like it. Some stuff were just sort of thrown in there and it felt out of place. It's decent but, I rather Moon Child. I only really like it because I'm an uber Hyde (even though he got like no screen time or much lines) and Hiroki Narimiya fan.
 
I love this movie! Hyde captivated me completly with his acting, and Gackt.. well he was ok, but for some reason I had a hard time taking him seriously. Propably because certain parts were slightly overdone, sort of speech.
I'd give the movie 5.5 out of 6, since Gackt sort of ruined a few moments for me. (like the part where he suddenly gulps/coughs up some blood after he's been shot.)
Don't get me wrong, I adore Gackt, but no love in the world can make me ignore those small flaws in his acting..:p

And Hyde and Gackt 😍 yam! I really wanna buy that movie!~<3
 
This movie is great.. but i think Hyde was better actor than Gackt here XP...

😍 yesh who knew Hyde had the talent!! Gackt was ehhh I guess....it was tolerable. But Hyde ...this man stole the spotlight the entire movie...made it that much more enjoyable :p
 
i love moon child it so awsome and hello hyde and gackt are so hot. as for last quarter i've only seen half of it im still waiting to get the movie which should get here by this coming tuesday yay

I love this movie... and your sig dragonlady_e

I'm usualy a raging Gackt fan but often prefer Hyde in this movie... and have converted many people to Hyde fandom through showing them it! However... you have to give Gackt cerdit for writing it!
