Nagoya is great. Not to hip like Tokyo but enough to fancy everyone who visit. FYI, NIT have a few rooms for family in gakusei kaikan. If you manage to secure one. It will be a big saving. For living expenses, I think the scholarship is enough for two. If not enough, you can still do part time job there as well.I am going for PHD in Electrical Engineering... How was the life in Nagoya (expenses for two persons ?) and the University itself ? if i may ask .
Hey people I would like to share my updates with you.
Yesterday I got an e-mail from my tutor from Nagoya University (second choice, first was KEIO, private) telling me that the government had contacted the university to confirm my future enrollment in Nagoya University! I am so happy to know that everything seems to be going on fine even though there's no final or definite confirmation that I am going to Nagoya University hehehe. I believe that the Embassy of Japan will only inform the final and definite results to applicants here, so I'm going to have to wait until January to get the final confirmation anyway.
Based on what happened yesterday I will be going to Nagoya if everything goes on fine from now on.
Anyone else going to Nagoya University?
Maybe we can arrange small reunion there☺
