In any case, what I seem to have noticed is that there's no threads like "Japanese girl wants to marry foreign otaku nerd" or "Japanese woman looking for extremist Christian husband" or "Japanese girl looking for Muslim guys".

Maybe its because there's no point restricting the scope? And maybe, just maybe it is better to let your subconscious self, your instincts decide what you prefer, rather than make a decision based on scripture? I mean, how can a prophet or some similar anachronism decide for you who you prefer? Its just nonsense.

Well, Epimetheus, I am not telling you what I have written in my previous post. Apart from my immediate reply to the quite from you, it is addressed at the broad public. As for why I'm writing nonsense to you... its fun. Just trolling you a bit.

Hell, at least get to know someone for a couple years first if you are in that much of a rush to get married "cuz yur cuzzins did it."

Well bro, I'm living in Turkey, my family is Muslim and I'm agnostic, also i have a Japanese girlfriend who is atheist. The thing is, i was scared as hell at first, they weren't even okay with me being agnostic at first, how could they accept a Japanese-atheist girlfriend ? But i just wanted to see how it went, i couldn't hide her from them forever since we live in the same apartment, i introduced her, it happened just like i thought. They didn't approve at first, told me to go find a Turkish girl, but in time they accepted and liked her. What i mean is, finding a Muslim girl is what they want at first, but if you can properly introduce your girlfriend and make them like her, it won't be a problem.. It will take time, maybe hard, but at the end, don't try to find a girl for your family. Find a girl you love, or you will just make your life miserable.

Are you sure that your attraction to Japanese women isn't merely a superficial, physical affectation? Since I rediscovered my own religious beliefs, I've found that the best sort of woman to marry is a woman from the same cultural, ethnic, and religious background (western European in my case). Note my current sig: "Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set." I have a great deal of respect for Japan and its people, but I'd be hestitant to want to marry a Japanese girl.
