Looking for Japanese Muslims

I'm interested in Japanese Muslims myself.
I'm actually one of them, but i'm a mix...my mom is Japanese and my dad is Egyptian. Just want to see if i can find someone in common with me. But if you wanna know anything about japanese muslims you can message me!

Now that's an interesting mix! I'm also curious about japanese Muslims. I'm full egyptian, born and raised in America but I am completely in love with Japan and just would like to know of those living there that are muslim

I'm glad someone said something about his comments. Really though, you're confusing religion with ethnicity. Any ethnicity can be muslim, christian, buddhist, satanist, whatever the heck you want but with that EVERY and I mean EVERY religion will of course look at you like an outsider if you leave it. It's not different for any religion. So, why you're picking on Islam is beyond me since it's the same with every religion and believe me I have my exposure to religions.

Any religion says this. not just Islam. Christian missionaries will go around saying "you too can know the love of Jesus". Don't be so naive.

The followers don't like it because to them it is an insult on their beliefs and they genuienly feel that the person leaving is committing their soul to eternal damnation. Again this can apply to any religion, especially the Judeo-christian religions. You want religions that are really difficult to leave look at the modern cults such as Jehovah Witnesses, Moonies and Scientology.
Incorrect. The idea that Islam is against cultures in a fairly new development within Islam, and then in only some branches. It is not one of it founders original teachings. When Islam first came to the fore and spread, other religions had a lot more freedom within its boundaries than within a Christain led country. The Jews in Spain lived in peace for almost 800 years when it was held by the Muslims. When the Muslims were eventually driven out of Spain by the Catholics the Jews were forced to convert to Christainity or leave the country. Those that didn't were killed.
"All Christian are brothers", a phrase used constantly by Christians. Your aguments against Chinese converting to Islam sounds it is more fueled by nationalism rather than a set of realistic arguments. All arguments you have used can be said of any nationality. In Europe it can be said we are a Christian people, it is an offense to our God that people convert to Islam. It still doesn't stop people. Coversion to a religion has nothing to do with nationality or race. Conversion is based on what a person reads and decides to believe in. The choice is personal.
Little difficult as the man was born only 2500 years ago.

It is wrong. Buddhism never say so, if a buddhist do something wrong, he will be denied as a monk even he say himself a buddhist aloudly.

This is the typical though and behaviors with monotheism. Buddhism,Taoism,Hinduism,Shintoism don't think so.

"Conversion is based on what a person" maybe true. but how the muslims do with non-muslims? high-tax? force-invadation? Why muslima want to put in force Islamic law to all people not just to himself?

Perhaps some who are Muslem will answer to you soon enough--although I am fairly certain that there are no Japanese nationals on the forum who are Muslem. . . just some who live in other countries, or at least one lady I know of who is from a mixed marriage, living in UK, and who is a practicing Muslem.

i`m malaysian muslim..just came to japan about last 5 month..
will stay here about 3 and a half year i think..

it not so hard to live in japan..all halal meat& chicken can order by internet
and it will reach to your house..

for the big city like osaka tokyo ,,u can get halal food at imported store..

ramadhan will coming soon..this is my 1st ramadhan here..

The first Muslim Japanese ever known are Mitsutaro Takaoka who converted to Islam in 1909 and took the name Omar Yamaoka.....and the Kobe Mosque built in 1935 (which is the only remaining mosque in Japan nowadays) and the Tokyo Mosque built in 1938.

And there are over than 20 Mosques, and 14 Islamic organizations in japan.

So, if we look at these mosques and organizations homepages. we will know that half of them controlled by 100% Japanese Muslims. and the other half are organized by foreigners.

Interesting random bump, but in Britain, apparently 92% of the population is white.

Now, making the assupmtion not even a full percentage point of these are of Muslim faith, and alot fo British immigrants who have Muslim roots may have become lax in their observance or given it up entirely, Britain is still considored to have a strong Muslim presence.

Now considoring the statistics in Japan, the number of Japanese muslims must be so small as to make the prospect of running into one pretty slim.

Anyway, I guess that's true about being Japanese. Cultures clash sometimes. I understand this, but what about the other religions? Not that I wanted to say that the SDA religion was the only true religion. We consider ourselves mainly Christians first and foremost, not SDAs. The Muslim community is vast as well, but with what was said to be only a few number I suppose there are much fewer SDAs.

at least this solves my problem..didnt know there was a mosque in tokyo..hehe..At least the next time i go to japan, tokyo..ill have no problem knowing which direction the kiblat is when about to go for prayers...Alhamdullilah! Knowing that there are fellow Muslims in Japan.good to know. Really hoping to meet some Muslims living in japan though = \ A muslim is still a muslim..no matter which country their living in..Im interested in knowing how they cope with life over there in japan..In terms of buying food; ingredients that are halal.The onli halal japanese brand i know is MEiji o.0 . I didn't know Meiji brand is halal...I don't think any brand of food is certified as halal. But Masha'Allah, you live in Malaysia, you guys have halal Japanese restaurants there,that's a dream for me.
As far as buying food...I eat Japanese food,but I don't live in Japan. Most important thing is checking the ingredients in the back of the product. A lot of noodle dishes contain fish extract, which we can eat insha'Allah,but some noodles for example, contain pork fat,which we don't eat.
Also, in Japan you can get fresh fish, but not the marinated kind,which many times contains sake (rice wine).

Yamatoblue Waalaikumsalam..btw, i live in Singapore..not malaysia..just below malaysia..Anywyaz, not ALL the restaurants in S'pore is halal.I juz wished i could eat japanese food.Halal ones.Too bad no halal japanese restaurants in s'pore..oh on second thought there is..Ramen Ten..but its soo far!!! -.- have to take like more than half an hour trip just to go there...
