Looking for my Japanese father

Hello I am looking for my father. His name is Mitsuo Wakai. He is from Mito , Ibaraki , Japan. I was 3 years old when I last saw him and know I am 20 years old and I still can't find him. Please help me I have photos of him which he sent me almost 6 years ago. I hope you can help me

Do you know the "kanji" (characters for his name)?
Do you still have his "old email address" (perhaps a search for it might turn up something on Japanese websites (if he had that email for some time) (if you have it and would like me to search for it please DM me (don't post his email here).
Did his previous emails have any "signatures" (in Japanese that may help to locate him).

If you go to tomoni's profile , you will see the word "contact". Click on that to send him a private message. For some reason , he has not been on for almost a month so not sure if he will reply.
