Japanese Vocabulary audio lists

はじめまして！
Hi, I am a relatively new Japanese learner, I began about 8 months ago and I'm hooked! Kanji are worse than crack, I find myself trying to read the labels on Japanese products at the supermarket and forgetting why I was there in the first place...
If you use Lang-8 I'd love to be your friend there: Profile: Cheeseboy777 | Lang-8 As you can see my level of skill is still rather poor! If you're a new learner too I can't recommend Lang-8 enough, it's fantastic.
Anyway, I'm looking for some audio files to download and listen to while I work / fold laundry / drive etc. I'd like simple vocabulary lists with English word / Japanese word ... the longer the better, and while free would be great I'm happy to invest a little in my learning. Ideally mp3 format to play on my computer but would consider ipod app as well.
Any tips greatly appreciated!

Have you tried the podcasts from Japanese 101? Learn Japanese online. With our podcast, learning Japanese is easy. | JapanesePod101.com
A few series are downloadable for free. They're bite-size lessons that follow each other nicely.

Japanaesepod101.com has a great series that teaches you culture, words and grammar. They're grouped by level of understanding from beginner to advanced. You can subscribe to their free podcast or pay to get access to their full audio archive, about $4 a month I think. I did both, since I find their work incredibly useful, but you may disagree.

nihongo.fm - Free Japanese Study Radio & MP3 Downloads is a 24-hour online "radio" broadcast where different "shows" have different themes. Ultimately, it's just a woman saying the word in english, and then its Japanese counterpart. EX: "Textbook... きょうかしょ". She does this over and over until that list of vocab is done. It's pretty helpful

Hi guys, thanks very much for the links. I tried some of the japanesepod101 ones a while back and found them a bit cheesey (I know, for me that should be a bonus!!). I should check out some more as I've moved on a bit from total newbie to almost total newbie!

I think I've found what I was looking for, these are great:

JLPT levels N4 and N5 - Native Speaker JLPT Vocabulary Audio

I've had them on loop for a few days and I've found them really useful.
