Also, just spamming our boards with pictures without giving any explanation for the pictures is not acceptable behaviour. Consider this a warning.

Explain your pictures. Do not have us "make our own conclusions". Similar behavior will not be tolerated in the future.
 
OK,it is your forum, I won't promulgate pictures again.
But there are two conclusion
1>It is extremity difficult for Japanese to accept the fact.
2>China must own a super strong military power to prevent
this tragedy happen again.
 
The Olympic game is the peaceful event. Who wants to go to such a "super strong militarized" country?
 
There's an old adage in Chinese: 'Contemplate your faults behind closed doors'. Whose faults? The guy's next door, of course!

Do you know Japan Communist Party openly criticises the monachy here?
Their policy even includes abolishing the monarch, however it is fortunte that they have not obtained popularity.

You may say that Tibet and Uighur are your internal matters, but how about Korea, India, Vietnam, the former USSR, etc?
I partly agree that Japan should provide some military boats to ASEAN countries to tackle pirates there, but I want to laugh heartily at hypocracy of small arms exporting countries incl. your country, so I fully support the Japan's strict arms export control.

Hopefully we can agree that the Korean nationalists claiming the 2000 year old ancient coutnries are a bit outdated.

I don't want to give you an impression that I hate Japan or Japanese.
But to any country, if there are some dark periods in history, you
should face it in stead of deny it.
BTW, tomorrow is a dark day for China (anniversary of 1989.6.4).
Japan Communist Party? maybe they are real communist, but in China,
we have a fake one

Japan's attitude of its militaristic past makes countries around it
feel nervous, so any Japanese military action oversea will be opposed
by its neighbors, if one day when Japan solved its history problem
throw off the heavy burden of its militaristic past completely, just like what German did

China exports a poisoned pet food and,
They kill a student with the ramen which they made with waste oil,
A Chinese palms off poison in the disguise of a cold medicine and kills people more than 400 people.
They export the tooth powder which they mixed a toxic substance with.


China spreads terrorism all over the world.
 
Great, China now is the third largest trader in the world
and is going to be the second largest trader soon.
I hope your "spreads terrorism" theory can stop this process

Former President Returns from Trip to Japan The Chinese hurled a couple of plastic soda bottles at Dr. Lee in departure lobby at Narita airport Terminal 2.

Bottles did not hit anyone, the Chinese was arrested there. Some reports mention that the self-claimed engineer, 34yr old, has been living in Chiba since Sep. 2005.

hmmm... good question- not very well. I read somewhere that Taiwanese use the word 'chinese' to refer to something unorganized. i myself have never heard that used before and question the validity of that statement. but nonetheless, mainlanders aren't held in very high esteem by the local Taiwanese. just think abt China being in the UN security council, always against Taiwanese membership. then, there's the 800 ballistic missiles. then, there's the anti-secession law. further, China has even gone as far as to declare that Taiwan is a nonexistent country and merely a 'renegade province' and contradicts itself in saying that Taiwan must 'reunite' with the mainland. the list goes on.

I think Taiwan was never a part of china in her history
 
so very true, caster51! as far as i'm concerned, the island was a part of the qing dynasty which then handed taiwan over to japan 'in perpetuity'. for a while it was part of the ROC (not the current PRC), but taiwan has NEVER been a part of the PRC, the communist nation of today.

Crying about a retired old man's overseas trip, no one knew that Chinese hearts were that fragile. Or are they just so scared of him.

Then, the "and demanded the release of a Chinese man arrested for throwing a bottle at the politician as he was heading home" clause suggests that some people might not have reached the level to comprehend what the word "law" means.
By the way, Dr. Lee Teng-hui is no longer a politician.

Why did they feel like going to Japanese embassy instead of direct complaints to Taiwan. Why Chinese media reports just ten-or-so fenqing "protest" that big, while virtually no coverage there about countless domestic riots against corruptions, real fights between thousands of peasants and armored police everytime.

Why did the Xue Yi guy decide to live in the country he hates so much.

Well, there is a big difference between Mao and the revolutionaries of UK, France, and USA- Besides the fact that Mao killed a greater percentage of his "fellow comrades", don't forget that the UK, France, and USA are all democracies/republics- places where there is freedom of speech, religion, press, etc. Further, the Chinese gov't officials still persecutes supporters of democracy unlike UK, France, and USA. you can't compare PRC, a third world country to the countries at the top of the world- UK, France, USA. You can't even use wikipedia or an uncensored google in China!!!

another thing- all rebellions/resistance forces/people who hate the government and take action are quickly suppressed and not put in the news. take tiananmen for instance- all foreign reporters were kicked out of the country. the man who threw soda bottles at Former President Lee was shown all over the country- in other words, PRC honored the violent man. had this been a japanese man, the entire country would have been shamed and formally apologized. I think that the PRC owes Taiwan a formal apology for what it did.

To answer Caster51's question about why the man lived in the country he hated, I'm guessing that the soda bottles were a show set up by the Chinese government. (protests are illegal in China; this was clearly a show by the gov't).
 
No liberal media or loud political parties who must be louder when yakuza threatens them condemn the Chinese guy.

CCP really needs an opposition party,for it is good for the citizen. Maybe the pressure in and outside could force the CCP fall out of power,but it is obviously that the CCP won't give up the power by itself.

Both Republic of China and People's Republic of China are stand for China,now in UN, PRC stand for China, once it was ROC.

the Former President Lee is the godfather of modern political movement for Taiwan independence .

I dislike him, but so far I don't know Lee has been threwn soda bottles .

Lee once said : he is Japanese befor he at the age of 20.In Lee's early years,he lived in Japanese colonial period .Lee is a strange man.

TaiWan of China is like Alsace of France, although, cession....once it has been stolen by the German,After the WW1, it returns to French.
