Is it just me or no one comes to Canada??

Okay I live in Canada and maybe it is just me but no Japanese band has come to Canada. Okay Dir En Grey, but Toronto isn't all of Canada. I just want to know why? They have fans here.
Do you live in a country where no Japanese band has come to either or like maybe they have to one city and like hopped away to another country?
I would like to do something about this. I was thinking of collecting a 1000 names and then emailing (somehow??) it to the Japanese bands people want to see.
I am not sure exactly how this would work or even if it would...
Is anyone willing to help me with this or am I just a hopeless daydreamer??

Too bad, but it doesn't happen in Canada only.

Japanese bands go to locations where their agents can expect to rake in profits so that it's financially feasible for everybody. So, even in the US, most gigs by Japanese bands concentrate in the western and eastern seaboards (read LA and NY) and only a few cities in between... :sorry:

Good point...It makes sense and no you don't need to be sorry.
I discuss this with friends who have gone and seen Dir en Grey and when I complain they don't come to Canada they say sorry too. LOL!

hey why argue about canada? In Belgium THEY NEVER CAME!

I'm even glad they reached toronto, because they say always they come to a very big dome here the Antwerp SportDome or the japanese belgian Naguyama Dome in flanders.

Well i hope they reach Philippines

Why not complain about them not coming to Canada? Like I said they only came once and it was one show in Toronto. I could have gone but it was sold out before I got the chance to buy any tickets. I would just like to see more Japanese bands floating through here. Sorry if I am only speaking for my country.

Hmm, some punk bands have played in Canada, as Hi Standard, Warhead, Sligh Slappers, Nightmare (NOT the visual band) and Chainsaw... They usually accept touring Canada and Mexico borders (Tijuana) when they're invited to play in U.S.

Well, it's easier to bring japanese punk bands overseas: they're well known anywhere among punks

well im from Mexico i cant even buy cd's from japanese bands i got 2 gackt cds from internet but the worst part is that he will never come..I mean...NEVER!!
That is really sad, most of my friends listen to fall out boy, AFI etc..and they have the chance to go to their concerts but for me its just impossible!!☝

I think the Japanese bands mainly focused on USA and Japan itself... I mean there are times where they tried to tour places like Europe... But somehow, it seems that they didn really come down to SouthEast Asia -___- I mean, Japan's also an asian country why can't they hop down here XD And in my country, i basically wun be expecting any bands to come over even if the fans here are steadily growing... If only there is a world tour....
