The Initial D Real Life Movie will be released on the 23rd June 05, i was just wondering wat you ppl will think of this movie and wat are you expecting, excitied or w/e. Post ur thoughts here ^^
I downloaded the movie and saw it last night! I thought it was a nice movie, didn't watch the anime though.What strikes me is that it's a Japanese anime, but the movie is Chinese with Chinese actors playing Japanese people.Even the things and places are filled with Japanese. :? But they did a good acting
have had it for a week or so, but the guy who gave it to me qualified by saying "okay... since you said you wanted to see, here it is..."

I'm quite a fan of Jay Chou and Edison Chen, so imagine my delight when they were both in the same film. Jay's expression is still the usual poker face most of the time, but *squeals* I still like it!
The racing scenes were rather good, and it was full of cute bishies, so I'm happy! My only regret is that I've only watched the chinese version of the movie, I'm still waiting to watch the canto version For those who haven't watched it yet, go check it out! It's pretty good!

The movie was decent as far as racing goes; they pretty much transcribed what I've seen from the anime into live action. the 3d animation was a little obvious at times, but if you overlook that the racing scenes weren't too bad. The plot was pretty thin, but it had all the common elements you'd expect from it. I'd say it's worth watching once or twice, but not worth paying for.
