@dash+
what course were they racing on? because the evo3:
- performs decently on myogi, usui, happo, shomaru and tsuchisaka
- performs good on akagi and akina
- performs very well on irohazaka and akagi uphill
a lot factors come into play. the evo3 driver may have been better than the ae86 driver, for one.
if i'm not mistaken, the only option for the evo3 to have "fire" shoot out the muffler is option-A default muffler. this happens when:
- you release the gas (say, the rpm is already ar redline) or
- you shift (up or down)

you'll get your aura when you reach battle level 11. as your battle level increases, so does the aura's height.
it depends because certain parts can either increase a car's handling or driftiness. you might have to experiment by getting parts along the way to customize the car's handling just the way you want it. what GT-R did you get, by the way? an R32 or an R34?
@Noire
few use the s2000, i don't know why but they say it's not that good. but if i'm not mistaken, the s2000 has pretty good top speed (since it's a 6-gear) and good turning (since it's an FR) so try to exploit some of those car's strengths.
i'm not particular about options, i usually go for"looks" ^^ from what i heard, certain options give the car's basic handling - grip (good handling) or drifty, for example. like some options increase handling, some driftiness others a bit of both. i could suggest going w/ your preferred option for now then just change it later upon inspection if it doesn't suit your driving style.
