Okies, I'll send it to you as an email attachment instead. :)

Who here's gone and listened to the FAITH sample? I'm really tempted to go listen to it but teasers really leave me hanging and with exams coming up the last thing I need at the moment with exams coming up is to be distracted.

..But... But... I really wanna know what it's like! >.<

So anybody who has heard it care to share your opinions?

I'm an Aquarius.... ☝ I never saw it that way before...

During the first third of a live concert hyde sounds like he does on the records. Totally amazing. He gets worn down a bit from the middle onwards but after the band takes their little mid song breaks he recovers a bit and he seems to always to be able to pull himself together for the last two songs to give the concerts one hellava conclusion.

I understand how you feel Kevin, I too have tried to sing L'Arc and HYDE songs at karaoke and 😌 Just makes me worship the man even more.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah Haidoooooooo!!!!!!!i Love His Voice....reeeally Wonderfulllllll^^ The New Album Are......yattaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!

Hyde is cute, but he has one weird eye hahaha, and his yebrows are kinda funny :p
anyway, he's not my favourite jrocker haha. But you gotta respect the man hahaha

Gackt's ... cute but he's got one weird nose and contact eyes don't suit him in my opinion but anyway, he's got a good low voice for singing. He's also a kickass composer.

Kyo ranks right after hyde for me. That guy sure has some pipes. =D

I've listened! I've listened!

My thoughts:

hyde's English is definitely improving. (English lyrics are pretty damn coherent, too. Definitely would recommend reading them; listening to the album becomes a whole different experience once you've connected yourself to the message. hyde needs to publish a book of poetry, for real.)

Makes a good "live" album.

1 - JESUS CHRIST
This is one of my favorite songs off the album. Dark, ominous and tinged with a sort of hopeless desperation; a subtle rebelliousness in the face of defeat. hyde's falsetto really stands out, here.

2 - COUNTDOWN (I'll skip this one since you've probably already heard it)

3 - MADE IN HEAVEN
Not too impressed with this track. Hardrock and western-y. Lots of growling. hyde's a good growler, and if you're female it might stimulate a certain region below the waist, but I prefer it when he sings.

4 - I CAN FEEL
Another good track. I like the guitar work and synths; they set up the song's atmosphere well. Song itself is slow and sensuous. I like the last part where hyde goes "wohhh! woh~ohh! wohhh~oh~oh~", especially. Probably sounds better when you hear it...

5 - SEASON'S CALL (well, you've probably heard this, too, so...skip!)

6 - FAITH
I like the vocals on this track; more of hyde's trademark falsetto and his hitting-of-high-notes shine through. Nice guitar work. It's passionate; if you allow yourself, hyde's voice and the music can carry you away....

"Entrust my will to you~"

7 - DOLLY
Hardrock. Angry and righteous. I can see everyone headbanging to this one.

8 - PERFECT MOMENT
A drastic change from DOLLY. This is my favorite track. Melancholic and quiet; like embracing a dark fate so that some day "the sun [can be] born of night". I think my eyes watered, but that could have been my allergies.

9 - MISSION
This is a fun track and encourages the bobbing of heads and the swaying of hips. There's an acoustic guitar. The chorus also has a nice reaching-above-the-bedlam vibe to it.

10 - IT'S SAD
Chaotic, but melodic. Ends the album on a climax and leaves you wanting more...

(Not very thorough, but I hope it helped.)

EDIT: I just realized the date of your message and that you were referring to the song FAITH, not the entire album....

Well!

Well!

:-) Actually I was referring to the entire album. I just got mine two days ago and the packaging is so pretty! I "ohhh"ed and "ahhh"ed at the lyrics pages for so long...

Maybe it's because I heard a radio version of Made in Heaven before hearing the whole album but that track left a pretty good impression on me. My favourite's probably MISSION because it's so catchy.

I catch myself grinning to that song sometimes and I think the people around me on the bus probably think I'm a retard by now. :p

My second favourite song is probably Jesus Christ not just for the lyrics and the amosphere it sets for the whole single also simply for HYDE's singing.

I really wanna live in the US so I can go to one of his FAITH concerts :(

thanks for the link hyde *is listening secret letters*
the jap version is a bit better tough...
You might want to avoid using the word jap to talk about the bands you like, its some-what akin (as some people) have pointed out on this forum to the word nigger...

Sorry to use an epithet to describe another, but maybe people will get the idea and stop using the word.

ps. I'm aware that you meant no offense by it, so you don't have to point that out.

hiya!!! none of you probably remember me since i haven't been on i na few monthes.....but i am here now
so if you don't know me, oh well, my aim and e-mail is vampirenutmuffin

I'll give you a live report to make it feel as though you were there!

hyde's vocals in JESUS CHRIST are really beautiful. And DOLLY is stuck in my head... I thought it wasn't catchy. Hah.

I here that Hyde may not come back to L'arc en ciel is that true?

Say, does anyone know if Hyde was in Nara yesterday (Saturday) in the early afternoon?

As a friend and I walked down the street there, we found a gaggle of teens crowding the street. As we passed them, some J-Pop–looking guys were being pulled in by rickshaw, greeted by a chorus of cheers. We asked a shopkeeper down the street what was happening and she said that they were waiting for what sounded like "Haito." Perhaps it was Hyde.

I'm a bit curious, so I thought I'd ask. Thanks.

Ah, I see. Many thanks, Mari, for the information. What a coincidence to be walking down the street on the day and right at the moment he happens by.
